  I was flossing my teeth and noticed a small piece of filling had broken off . I went to Millhopper Family Dentistry as a new patient .A friend had recommended them . I filled out paperwork and went back a few hours later the same day for an evaluation and met Dr Spooner and his assistant Amber . He numbed my mouth with one injection which I really , really appreciated . Full set of X-rays . Going back for a cleaning in Dec.Excellent at relieving my anxiety explaining what he was doing as he replaced the filling. Very professional and kind at the same time . Very highly recommended Dr Spooner and Amber . Looking forward to my next visit. Sincerely Dianna Verschaeve

  Professional in every way! A welcoming, calm environment where patients are greeted upon arrival and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The dentists and hygienists are caring and accommodating. When my grandson, on a visit from out of town, fell at the playground and broke his tooth, Dr Spooner worked him in right away. I can’t recommend Millhopper Family Dentistry highly enough; they really work with you and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

  Dr. Spooner and his assistant, Amber, were outstanding, very professional, and helpful fitting me in today with an unexpected appointment for a tooth issue. We have been patients at Millhopper Family Dentistry for over 30 years, always with excellent dental care.

  When we first moved to Gainesville, every person I asked recommended Millhopper Family Dentistry. When we discovered it was less than a mile from our house? How could we say no. I've met all but one of the dentists in the office over the five years I've been going to see them, and several hygienists, and I can say without exception it is the friendliest most welcoming and civilized dentist office I've visited in my life. They ensure your physical comfort, they make sure you understand exactly what's going to happen next, they make patient-centered decisions and not profit-centered decisions and recommendations, and I see myself being one of their patients until the end! And don't be scared off by the stuff on the website that says they don't take insurance. They've actually always processed my insurance,and I end up paying very very little if anything for regular cleanings and visits. Check them out!
