I had the best experience finding a pair of Progressive glasses and sunglasses with Regina in the store. She helped me try on countless pairs of glasses, recommending the best ones for my nose and the shape of my face. She was very thorough and patient. I would definitely purchase again with her because of her excellent customer service.

All LensCrafters stores across the country share the same bright, open layout and great selection of brands, but what made me write a 5-star review specifically for the Merrick Park location is Leslie. Because of Leslie, I will definitely be returning to this store and bringing my entire family here for their eyewear. She managed everything with total professionalism and deep expertise. Having a complicated prescription can be stressful, so finding someone as knowledgeable, patient, and thorough as Leslie was an absolute relief. LensCrafters is incredibly lucky to have her on their team. Highly recommend asking for Leslie when you visit!

Maria was extremely helpful today w a pair of glasses that I own and needed assistance w fitting them properly to my face. She was so cordial and without hesitation offered her assistance. In no time my glasses were fitted to my face. I am appreciative for this time and attention. You will be in great hands w her!!

My experience with this location has been nothing short of a nightmare. First, my glasses had to be remade, and despite me only asking for an anti-reflective coating, they included a bunch of unnecessary add-ons that were never prescribed by my optometrist. They were listed on the receipt, but since I didn't know what those terms meant, I ended up paying for things I didn't ask for or need without realizing it. After finally picking them up two weeks ago (following their advice to wear them for a week to adapt), I noticed a strong color distortion. That's when I realized they had put "Blue Vision" on my lenses. I went back to the store yesterday (August 7th) and once again left without a resolution. The associate claimed that the return window had passed, even though their official customer service policy and website clearly state: "You can return your eyewear for a full refund or replace them within 30 days of the dispense date, which is the day they arrive at your home or the day you pick them up from the store.” Despite this, the employee insisted the policy was based on the purchase date, claimed there was nothing she could do, and stated that the manager wasn't in. She couldn't even tell me if or when I would receive a callback. Let's see how long this takes to resolve. I never want to step foot in this store again.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
