  I have been a member at the YouFit Gym Boca Town Center location since it opened. The gym has been on a downward trajectory ever since. This was supposed to be their flagship location, and I can tell you from many years of first hand experience, the upkeep of the gym has failed miserably. The equipment is nowhere near what a gym should be. Examples: The padding on their machines is worn and ripped. Their cables in the middle of the gym need to be completely replaced. The weight plates stick together on the cable machines where you lift an additional weight plate until about 5 reps in and then the weight plate separates from being stuck together and you hear a loud bang in the gym. The cables also have no smooth tracking so they are constantly squeaking because the tracks have not been maintained and you never get a consistent movement, and it becomes a staggered motion. The chest press machine and others desperately need replaced. Example: Chest press machine, even when the seat height is set to the highest position, the machine is level with the top of your shoulders. Many other machines are not ergonomically correct to hit the right body part. Other equipment will 'stick' when trying to start the motion so your shoulders are at risk for serious injury. Cardio bikes are always 'Out of Order' amongst other cardio equipment. Gym stereo works intermittently or not at all. Paper Towel holders are empty. The list goes on and on. This gym needs a complete overhaul and money invested compared to other locations and competitor gyms. Ownership needs to take accountability and do something. Do not respond to this post by stating to contact Corporate. As mentioned, I have been a member since the Grand Opening, and know that contacting Corporate which I have done over the years, leads nowhere. No need to contact Corporate. Just walk into the gym and you will see everything I have described.

  This gym would be a lot better if they would fix the equipment. Out of 6 bikes, only one works properly. Have talked to staff for months about this. They keep putting it in but management doesn't seem to care. Update: Thank you for your reply. I have reached out by email as suggested. I will edit this review accordingly.
