The optometrist was great, however I was never notified my glasses were ready for pickup until I called. When I went in to pick them up, nobody cared to check to make sure they fit correctly. I said they felt lopsided and I was told they were not in a very annoyed demeanor. I was handed the glasses and that was it. Now they are falling off my face lopsided. Very disappointing. Typical optometry chain.

Excellent people. Since I had the first eye appointment, I was greeted by name as I walked in. There were no issues checking insurance, and the entire process, from the eye exam on, was not only efficient but pleasant. The only issue I had was with the barrage of appointment reminders. One in particular was offensive, even insulting. I don't need to be told I have a five minute window or I'll loose my spot. I undertand the concept, but a patronizing tone from the American "Health Care" industry taps into a latent fury. Luigi Mangione is a folk hero for many reasons . . . . Corporate should be worthy of the excellent people I encountered today.

Exceptional service. The experience was great. We received support with frame selection, child friendly staff, patient, and engaging. Our family will return to the Navy Yard location for future purchases.

If I can rate only one person it would be Cori and she would get all of my stars. I bought glasses and eye exam maybe 2.5 weeks ago. The doctor was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Eye exam used more modern technology than my previous place. The salesman Armondo was very sweet and complimentary but I needed help with picking glasses (been a while since I owed a pair). I got frames I was told would work for me after I voiced my previous issues with glasses. Needless to say, I didn’t like the glasses once I got them 7 days later. I went in yesterday for an exchange or return depending on what they said. All I know is Cori was amazing. I put them on and she instantly told me the issues with the frames I bought before I could say it (in a good way). I was the only one in there so she picked out different frames for me to try on that corrected my issues. She was personable, professional and made an unwanted task very simple. I just placed the order yesterday so I don’t know if I will 100% like the glasses or not (this may be premature). Yet, I felt better about my purchase when leaving than I did a couple weeks prior. When I walked in I was content with a return and she changed my mind. I wasn’t planning on purchasing anymore glasses from them. She may have changed my mind if I can get her again. I took away a star for the following reasons overall; I think their prices are a bit expensive for eye exams and glasses/upgrades. The first pair didn’t seem that sturdy. The shipping wasn’t bad but not ideal (7-10 days). The first time I didn’t feel listened to as much as the second time. So having to come back would have been avoided. So Cori gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and the first experience would have been 3 or 3.5 stars. She retained me for sure. When making a purchase you aren’t the most well versed on, it’s nice to have a knowledgeable person to help you.
