Dr. Keener and the rest of the team at WP Logan Circle were fantastic. I had a thorough exam, switched to a new brand of contacts, and got fitted for a pair of glasses in less than an hour. Dr. Keener was careful not to overcorrect my vision and was super helpful answering my questions. Will be back for my annual exam next year!

I had an exam this week with Dr Keener and the entire experience was top notch. I was greeted by very friendly employees and I was able to check in for my exam ahead of time. The young lady who checked me in was fantastic! She did a great job breaking down the price of the exam and finding my health benefits instantly. She broke down the pricing, was patient (since I had no idea who my eye care insurance provider was) and let me know what benefits I could use today! I purchased a pair of sunglasses and regular glasses and got 20% off my glasses! I definitely will be back for my next pair and will be recommending all my friends and co-workers come visit the Logan Circle location. This was the second DC location I have visited and both experiences were great!

I had a terrible experience in their Logan Circle store in Washington DC. When I arrived to check in the customer services representative just started speaking fast and bombarding me with numbers and figures and they were not clear and transparent about what would be covered by my insurance and what would not. It was only when I questioned the fees it became apparent they were trying to charge me for extra services not covered by insurance. They then wouldn’t allow me to use my insurance for a contacts prescription as they said I’d used this service. However, this is a brand new policy and never been used until my visit. So they tried charging for the contacts prescription. When I refused to have the photo taken of my eyes which was extra they claimed they might need to “dilate my eyes” and this could blur my vision for 5 hours. The staff seemed unprofessional and more interested in giggling and gossiping than taking care of customers. No wonder the store was empty. I’ll be going elsewhere for my optical care from now on. Really unimpressed.

Great staff and location. Matthew was very helpful in the selection process. A small hiccup during a prescription handoff to the pharmacy, but their team was very responsive and helpful. Looking forward to receiving my new glasses as well!
