I finally took the time to take care of my eyes and decided to find a Dr near me with an optical shop and I found Warby Parker @ DuPont Circle. I ended up seeing Dr Ayers and he got me for glasses and contact’s. The visit was fast and efficient and the customer service in the front was amazing, I even received a rebate for my contact lenses! I definitely recommend this office and the Dr to anyone looking for new glasses or contacts!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about my experience at Warby Parker in Washington, DC.
From the moment I walked through the door, every single associate made me feel welcome. Everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure I had a great experience. But the true standout was the optometrist.
I came to Warby Parker after having an absolutely terrible eye exam elsewhere a few months earlier. Based on that prescription, I had spent nearly $2,000 on glasses and contact lenses that simply never worked. I was frustrated, discouraged, and honestly nervous about going through the process all over again.
This doctor completely restored my confidence.
He took an incredible amount of time with me, trying different prescriptions, different contact lens powers, and different options until we found what actually worked—not just on the eye chart, but for my real, everyday lifestyle. I have never had a doctor invest that much time and patience into making sure I was truly comfortable and could see well in the situations that mattered most to me.
What impressed me even more happened after my appointment. Once I had worn the trial contacts and called back to say, “Yes, this is exactly what I want,” I asked if they could finalize my prescription. Instead of simply writing what was initially requested, the doctor personally reviewed all of his notes from my exam, caught a miscommunication, and called me himself. He said, “I don’t think this is actually the prescription that worked best for you—I believe this is the one we ultimately decided on.” Thank goodness he took the time to double-check everything. That level of attention to detail and genuine care is incredibly rare.
On top of the exceptional care, the value was outstanding. Even after paying out of pocket, my eye exam and glasses at Warby Parker were less expensive than what I had already paid elsewhere—even with insurance—for an experience that was nowhere near as thorough or successful.
If you’re looking for an eye doctor who truly listens, takes the time to understand your concerns, works with your lifestyle instead of rushing you through an exam, and genuinely wants to get your vision right, I cannot recommend this Warby Parker location highly enough.
This experience completely changed my perspective, and Warby Parker has earned a customer for life. I won’t be going anywhere else.
