  It’s a great gym but it is convection oven. The HVAC either doesn’t work or management has chosen not to turn on when needed. If you go early in the morning before work and take a class workouts, the room will be 80+ degrees and dripping with moisture at 6am and there is no air on. Only turning on a fan when the room is over 80 you just turn the room into a convection oven. You could steam your lunch in the same room. They have great classes and instructors but really need to get a functioning HVAC system, try doing walking lunges on a floor covered in moisture.

  Booked a training session with Jamal. Too bad only in town for a week, because I would book regular sessions. Greatest training session I have experienced. Will push you to your limits if you want it!

  I did not like the whole gym layout, It feels cramped, since land is not cheap in dc area, I just had a tour, dis not find the vibe very freimdly , it could be a dc thing; also there is no assigned parking for the gym members, I assume you can find a parking spot..., I did not like the whole package;

  Avoid this gym at all costs. I recently had a deeply disturbing experience in the steam room where I witnessed two individuals masturbate each other uncovered and right next to me. It was shocking, completely inappropriate, and made me feel unsafe in a place that’s supposed to support health and well-being.

  Would not join. If you want luxury do equinox if you want mid price do the gym above Columbia heights budget do planet fitness all of these offer the appropriate amount of quality to price ratio. They charge luxury prices but the most common sign you’ll see is this machine equipment is broken. Literally the facility maintenance is horrible across all locations. It’s also quite dirty. Whenever you do see someone mopping the locker room which rare, they literally take the same towels you use to wipe off and use them to mop the floor by pushing the towel around with a pole. They’re just a local gym that is so focused on trying to be corporate and franchising that they don’t care about actually serving their customers at all.
