  I was very disappointed, with all the staff. Very bad communication! Bad service not clear! Very poor service.

  sadly not a great experience! I came in to try on metas and the employee said she would need to call to look into the color I was interested in and she would get back to me Tuesday. I received no call and I called today and I was told I would have to wait till she’s back on Friday to help me and I was put on hold for 15 minutes and the employee never came back to the phone. Why should I wait a week when there’s someone else that could help me?? I wondered how they managed to have a 3.6 rating on Google but I now understand why.

  When I first moved to Stamford, this was the first place I went to for contacts. The experience was smooth. I loved the contacts I was fitted with! I felt the doctor and team made sure to take time to ensure this was the right pair for my vision needs. This year, I had trouble securing an appointment that worked with my schedule. I made the mistake of going to a place in Manhattan that was on the way home from work. Terrible experience. I was quoted for contacts over $300 what I typically pay, and suddenly told I had close to three different, new eye conditions. This place didn't even have contacts for me to try on and check for fitting in the office. I was so grateful to have a day off today and be able to go back to this Pearle Vision. This was the standard exam I expected and the price I always pay for my year's supply of contacts. This site is a gem! Definitely will not take it for granted. Already booked my appointment for next year. :) P.S. My eyes are perfectly healthy. Thank goodness for Dr. Craner!

  I wanted to share my experience in case it helps others. We initially visited this location and were quoted around $300 for glasses by a staff member at the front desk. About a month later, we returned, selected frames, and were then quoted close to $560 for the same exact frames and lenses we picked and inquired a month prior. When we mentioned the earlier quote, we were told that with our insurance and lens type, the higher price was correct, but the difference wasn’t explained at all or showed to us. To be sure, we visited another Pearle Vision location, where we were quoted around $360 for the same frames and high index lenses. This quote matched the first initial quote at the first location . The staff there was very helpful, transparent, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which made a big difference in our comfort level! Because of that experience, we chose to complete our purchase at the other location using the same frames. I hope this feedback is helpful. As someone who buys glasses regularly, I was hoping to find a reliable place for future visits, but the inconsistency in pricing and overall experience here made that difficult. It would be helpful to provide additional training to the front desk as the customer service is very poor and we won't be returning OR recommending this location to anyone.

  Don’t come here. There’s tons of negative reviews and they just don’t care. The service is terrible. The lady who works for Dr Kraners office is so rude and condescending. They messed up and prescribed me the wrong brand of contacts. Now I’m dealing with so many issues with my eyes and they don’t even care to help. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
