I’ve been debating writing this, but after receiving a $250 bill in the mail, I feel sharing my experience could help someone else. I have chronic and debilitating TMJ pain and came to this office to try to get some relief after years of other failed treatments. I’m pregnant and was trying to find answers before my baby comes. Before my appointment, I called to make sure they offered the specific treatment I was looking for. They confirmed that they did. I sent a detailed paper with my medical history, current symptoms, exactly what kind of treatment I was looking for, and made it clear that I am pregnant. I attached other medical history, reports and scans. I did everything I possibly could to communicate and come prepared. My husband and I drove 1.5 hrs to their office desperate for some help and guidance. The Dr walked in, didn’t look at me, and said “what can I help with?” as if he had no idea why we were there. I began to explain and then he interrupted saying “I will not touch a pregnant woman” and proceeded to say he does not offer the treatment I’m looking for and can’t help. I let him know that we drove a long way, and had confirmed all this information with his staff before arriving. He was immediately defensive and said “my staff are not clinically trained, they don’t know”. He was not very engaged and we felt like we had to ask so many questions just to get an idea of our next steps or how we could get help. He kept saying how great it is that I’m pregnant, when I was in there to find relief from debilitating chronic pain. It was one of the most bizarre and unprofessional interactions I’ve ever had with a Dr. I was in tears as we left. It’s your responsibility as a Dr to make sure your staff are not giving misinformation about the services you offer, regardless of their medical training. Receiving a bill for this encounter was disappointing. Chronic pain is extremely difficult to live with and the search to get it treated is exhausting. If you are a woman struggling with a pain condition or TMJ, I would not recommend this office. Based off of other reviews, I expect that he will respond in an unprofessional manner, blaming the patient and denying the experience.

I was actually very disappointed in my appointment. It took me a half hour to fill out the paperwork. Then I waited another half hour for my appointment and he spent approximately five minutes with me and said I can’t help you. I only do stem cell work Was very rudeand then walked out the door. The worst experience of my medical connection.
