  I met with Mr. Verge today to have a hearing test. The results were very good,they can help with my hearing loss. Mr. Verge (jim) was very professional and took the time to explain the entire process to me. I am very happy to be getting my hearing back (and my wife is also happy). If you have any concerns about your hearing,this is the place to go to,you will be glad that you did. Thank you Jim for your kindness and great customer service.

  I used a friend’s reference and booked an appointment with an Amplisound hearing care center office. I chose their convenient Putnam office. To say I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. My referral led me to Specialist Ralph in the Amplisound office. After my inexplicable series of dismal experiences at my Hear dot com provider on Hebron ave in Glastonbury and having considered my hearing aids a failure, I mostly stopped wearing them. My reference is about Amplisound however. I can only say Hear dot com was one of my worst experiences. So when I visited with Ralph in Putnam I saw a remarkable difference in service, in thoroughness and overall confidence and trust almost instantly. I had a thorough test and time to talk about where I was in my hearing aid experience. All I can say, instead of getting coached and coaxed into another set of aids, Ralph tuned up and worked with my current set. He said I had a solid brand, still excellent battery and worked with my app, made adjustments that had NEVER been made and spent considerable time on my aids. It’s already a long story but I want to say I was prepared to have to buy a completely new set so I could hear again. Imagine my thankful surprise and I mean thankful! That I was not brought into an purchase. Ralph is willing to work with me to make my hearing immensely better without a big investment at this time. I see him again early on driver. I am surprised, pleased, thankful , grateful to have been spared such a big (for me) investment. He made my plugs work even BETTER than when they were new from factory to me because the proper adjustments and then follow-ups were NOT provided by that other provider. When I reached out and then needed help none was given. Wow. Today was a really good day. Thank you Amplisound.

  All the people at amplisound are friendly and very professional. I have dealt with Ralph on multiple occasions, doesn't rush through anything, answers all questions and concerns.This last visit I had Jim who I had one time before.l have older high power BTE units and needed to have the units unsynced for when I am listening to music to be able to adjust volume separately. The new models are a click of the button on a computer, not mine they can not be done in that way. Jim spent some time figuring out in different ways how to get me my end result. I use the APP in my phone and after making adjustments with his computer and my APP I had the result I was looking for, complete separate volume control. Both Ralph and Jim will do anything they can within the capabilities of the hearing aids you get or have. Since my first set many years ago when I had the hearing test at amplisound and my present set with all the bells and whistles as they say I know they will always be there for their customers which they treat like their friends.
