  I have an extreme phobia of the dentist and have avoided going for 15 years because of the fear, anxiety, and embarrassment. I almost canceled my appointment that morning and ended up walking in crying, but everyone at the Friedler Group was absolutely amazing. They took the time to explain everything, show me exactly what was going on, and go over all my options without making me feel judged or rushed. For the first time in 15 years, I left a dental appointment feeling relaxed instead of terrified. If you have severe dental anxiety or a phobia like I do, I cannot recommend them enough. They truly made a difference, and I only wish I had found them sooner!

  Dr. Pavlakis is by far the best dentist around. I recommend him to all my friends and family members. I used to be someone who was anxious to get work done, but Dr. Pavlakis’s care went above and beyond and now I look forward to my dental visits and so does the rest of my family! When I had a lot of work done, not only was he reassuring that I would be ok beforehand, but he also checked in with me throughout the process to make sure I was not anxious. He even followed up with a phone call the next day to see how I was doing! I also should mention that I was shocked at how gentle and pain free the experience was considering how much work I had! Thank you Dr. Pavlakis!!!!!

  Excellent practice. It’s clear from the moment you walk in the door that they are up to date with all the modern technology. I had Michelle as my Hygienist. She was fantastic. Very professional. She did a great job cleaning my teeth…I could tell that she was getting all the garbage off my teeth and it was as close to a painless experience as it can get at the dentist. Dr Mervin was great as well. She was a straight shooter, no bs kind of doc. Exactly what I was hoping for. Very happy that I signed on with them and looking forward to my next appointment.

  I just moved to CT from FL a month ago. On Thursday before the Labor Day weekend, I lost part of a filling that left a hole in my tooth. The gum was infected by Saturday during a holiday weekend. I called this nearby dental office, left a message with the emergency service and was called back within a half hour. Prescriptions were called in, Dr Pavlakis checked in with me several times during the weekend and they got me into the office first thing Tuesday morning. I was treated with such kindness and professionalism from a dentist who didn’t even know me! They were able to offer treatment and put in a temporary crown. Outstanding staff followed up on my insurance and everyone contributed to make this as smooth as possible.. outstanding!
