  First time taking a barre class in Fairfield last month and was very impressed. Aside from the instructors being amazing and the class itself being just the right amount of challenging, it seemed like all the members loved being there. Everyone was super friendly, many of them chatting with each other before class. Coming from NYC, where it can feel less community based, this is exactly what I was looking for. They earned a member for life!

  My wife was a member of pure barre for three years. We have small children at home and unfortunately they do not offer child care so my wife had to find another studio. She sent an email notifying the staff that she was cancelling her membership and also sent the cancellation forum. Unfortunately she didn't sign the forum correctly. When paying my credit card bill last month I noticed two months of payments charged since her cancellation. My wife called the Fairfield studio and was told that since she did not fill out the forum correctly she would not be refunded. I'm sorry but when you've been a dedicated member to an organization for three years, and then they pull something like this, it really makes you questions the management and overall operation. Unfortunately I will have to go through my credit card company to be refunded the two months of payments, and my wife, family and friends will avoid pure barre in the future.
