Dayna has been fantastic to work with. I had glasses made incorrectly elsewhere and she has worked very hard with me to find a good correction!

Been coming here for years and each year makes me want to not return. I continue to come despite their horrible sales tactics and mediocre customer service because Dr. Orlen is great and it’s super convenient that it’s within the same building.
However, after my recent experience I will be taking my business elsewhere. I purchased a pair of Prada frames and the pattern I received was not to my liking so I ordered another pair based on their “happiness guarantee” policy. The second pair I received was in fact just the floor sample one I originally tried. When asked to get another one, they said their happiness policy is one time only. Ok, I totally understand. I also understand tortoise patterns vary and not in their control so I am not faulting them for this. What I cannot understand is how my “one time happiness guarantee” was used if they gave me a pair of their floor samples. When I told them about this, they said it’s not. But I took a picture of the floor sample one and it was the EXACT same one as the “new”one. According to them the glasses patterns will always be different (which is why they refuse to order me another pair). So then why is the “new ” frame that I received the same exact one that I first tried on. When I told them, they were confused.. like how? Despite that, fine, I’ll take one of the ones they offered.. but that sales rep that was helping me was speaking to the manager as if I’m not there…” I told her they’re all going to be different” with such dismissive attitude.
In the end, I left with a pair that I am not 100% happy with (despite their happiness guarantee policy) which again, whatever it’s not on their control so this review is strictly based on their customer service. This 1 star review is representation of the dismissive attitude that became progressively worse throughout the entire duration. She kept saying she’s confused and rolling eyes and towards the end didn’t even look at me. As a customer I felt dismissed. The manager emphasized this is a business and cannot continue to order me frames, I agree. Let’s hold that standard of managing a business then and treat your customers with a little respect and patience (emphasis on patience because she clearly didn’t have that).

From Dr. Orlen, to Kristin everyone was amazing. So polite, so helpful and very pleasant.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
