  I would not recommend this Club Pilates location. In my experience, they came across as more concerned about collecting another payment than helping a customer cancel their membership. I was expected to pay for a month I wasn’t even able to use before they would process my cancellation. The cancellation process was frustrating, confusing, and far more difficult than it should have been. After reading other customers’ reviews, it seems I’m not the only person who has had this experience. To me, this business feels more money-hungry than customer-focused. If you’re thinking about joining, read the reviews carefully and make sure you fully understand the cancellation policy before signing up. There are plenty of other Pilates studios that treat their members with more respect and make the process much more transparent.

  I’m about to take my 22nd class this week, and I love it here! Heather’s class is my favorite, she challenges us and keeps it fresh with new movements all the time, I’m never bored and always challenged!

  I have been a member of Club Pilates in Darien for about 9 months now and have overall enjoyed my time there. I do think there could be more classes available nights and weekends for us working clients! There is a lot of variation in instructors but that is to be expected and I have found my favorites. Unfortunately the cost of membership for me went up as 2024 began and I don't love that change as I am not sure I am benefitting as there are less class times available now than previously. I find some of their policies regarding classes unnecessarily strict to the point of taking advantage of paying responsible clients. As someone who has accepted losing a credit for missing a class that I took down the time wrong for or just was unable to cancel in time, I understand policy. I even make sure to adhere to the strict no lateness policy and am always early to class as to avoid wasting anyone's time. This past weekend I experienced an unfortunate situation where I had been on a waitlist for a class that began at 10AM on Sunday. I went to bed Saturday night and came off the waitlist in my sleep around 2AM. Unbeknownst to me, as I know thought I could sleep in, I didn't see that I was off this waitlist until shortly after the class began. I would not expect to be penalized for something happening in the middle of the night, so close to the beginning of class. To be penalized as a client losing a full class credit for this instance as it seems like a loop hole in a strict cancellation policy. Something to be aware of if you are interested as they are extremely strict and have no consideration in these situations.

  I LOVE club pilates Darien. The instructors are fabulous and they always have cute toesox! I was never the person who liked working out. In fact, I would even say I hate working out. Then I went to an intro class at club pilates, and I was hooked. I go 6 days a week, even Saturday mornings! Club Pilates Darien has literally changed my life and I’m feeling awesome!!!
