  One of the best and most unique Eyewear stores in CT. Great for both men's and women's frames! Sonya the owner is amazing and will give you honest responses about how styles fit your face. She has told me that she also does house calls for those who are unable to travel for any reason. I own 2 pairs from her shop both name brands (I spoiled myself) but she also offers lower cost options. I bought a pair of Betsy Johnson's and my sunglasses are frames from Bvlgari with custom lenses. She was able to get brown lenses with a purple film over the top to get the look I wanted with the frames!

  I can’t say enough good things about eyeTrade Optical Shop. Sonya is absolutely incredible. She has an amazing eye for style and somehow just gets it when it comes to matching frames to your face shape and personality. You’re not just picking glasses off a shelf, she’s guiding you toward something that actually looks great on you and feels right. The selection is outstanding, with a wide variety of designer frames that you won’t find everywhere else. You can tell everything is carefully curated, not just stocked. What really sets this place apart is the experience. Sonya takes her time, gives honest feedback, and makes the whole process easy and enjoyable. The level of customer care is consistently strong and feels genuinely personal. I also love that you can book private appointments, which makes it much more relaxed. I’ve been back multiple times and wouldn’t go anywhere else. If you want glasses that actually look great on you, this is the place.

  Sonya knew exactly what type of eyeglass frames could accommodate my challenging eyeglass prescription. She selected about five frames and gave me her honest opinion about how each looked. She also gave me half off of lenses I’m having put in my existing frames. She’s funny, professional, and wants her customers to leave her shop happy with their purchase. She has an amazing selection of eyeglass and sunglass frames.

  Excellent shop. My wife gets her eyewear exclusively from this place and is always receiving compliments. Everything sold here looks fantastic and is definitely going to draw attention.

  Forget ordering randomly online, forget going to the big box chain eyeglass places! Go check out this adorable, trendy, boutique eyeglass store and I promise you will not be sorry! Reasonable prices, amazing selection that is not run of the mill cookie cutter. I love the personalized attention and the honest, thoughtful suggestions about what looks best. Quick turn around for filling the prescription and I couldn’t be happier with my new glasses! Highly recommend!
