Vaccinations

Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.

This vaccine protects against chickenpox, a disease caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults born in 1980 or later need two doses.

This vaccine protects against coronavirus. Depending on the manufacturer, up to two doses and a booster are currently recommended.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.

This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.

This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.

There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.

These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.

This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.

This vaccine protects against shingles, a painful skin rash caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults age 50 and older need two doses.

These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.

Physical & Wellness Screenings

Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.

When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.

Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

Regina was great. I had a few questions and she was patient and answered them thoroughly while finding a solution to the issue I presented. I appreciate the effort Regina. Thank you.

This has been my pharmacy ever since I moved to Colorado last February, in 2025, and they've been fantastic up until a few months ago. I don't know what changed, but ever since then, I have caught them in MANY lies, and they have been making it very difficult for me to get my medication. The most recent thing they did (this week) was tell me that "my doctor put a note in with my prescription telling them they weren't allowed to fill it, or allow me to pick it up, until a certain date that they gave me." Which is when I will be completely out of this medication; and I always pick it up the day before that I'm out. Which makes sense, and is totally LEGALLY allowed! So I called my doctor's office to see if they were lying again, because I knew for a fact that that could not be true after the conversation that my doctor and I had. And shocker! I was correct. They had lied to me AGAIN! The woman I spoke to at my clinic said that she sees absolutely nothing of the sort in my file about the prescription, and there's no reason at all that I shouldn't be able to pick it up on the day I usually do. And her knowing my doctor as well as I do, also agreed that he would never put that in there! So this is yet another lie that I have caught them in. 😒 I don't know what they're trying to do, or why they are doing this? But with all the terrible reviews they already have, you'd think that they would start doing something about this? Not making things even worse! I know they are very busy, and blah blah blah. What pharmacy isn't? If you're going to go into that line of work you should understand that it's going to be a stressful career. You also need to understand that people need their medications, and some of them are life-threatening when they don't have them on time! So those should be their priorities... We shouldn't also NEVER be lied to, AT ALL, for ANY reason; and they should absolutely NOT be making up stories about our doctors putting notes in with our prescriptions when they did no such thing! (Which is probably being done to try to ease the pressure on themselves..) but regardless, it's not right, it's immoral, and it's probably illegal as well! It's a good thing that they are opening another king soopers here in town, because I've been ready to just start going to a different one out of town from now on. Especially after these new and most recent lies from them. This is definitely a first with any pharmacy that I've experienced in my entire life, and I'm almost 40 years old! Not once have I been lied to my face about something that my doctor didn't actually say.... What sucks? Is that before these last few months, they were 5 stars all around to me! For over a year! So like I said, I don't know what changed, but now I cringe at the thought of having to call, or deal with them in any way. So I urge all of you to go to any other pharmacy possible. If you prefer king soopers, go to one out of town! One that has good reviews, not horrible ones! To one that has people who actually care about what they're doing for a living and want to help people, not hurt them!

This pharmacy is useful for quick, simple transactions. For highly regulated or expensive drugs, you will likely have a more positive customer service experience and obtain the medication for cheaper if you go elsewhere. Personal Example: I obtained a 30-day supply of a highly regulated drug from Summit Pharmacy for $82; all transactions were efficient and all-based. King Soopers charged me $220 for the same 30-day supply, and staff was consistently belittling during our interactions.
