Honestly, my last two visits have been extremely frustrating. Both were visits that were supposed to be very quick, as check ups on my son’s new Stellest lenses. We were convinced to go with Stellest at his last annual exam in March. We bought into this very expensive program because we wanted to prevent my son’s eyes from getting worse and the doctor seemed confident that it would help. We knew there would be lots of follow up visits to check on them, but were assured that they would be quick ones. We spent a long time finding frames that would work with his new fancy lenses, since his old ones weren’t good enough. We picked up his new glasses a week or so later and he was again checked for proper fit. Then he was scheduled for his next official Stellest lens follow up appointment. On the first follow up, we were left waiting for 45 minutes past our appointment time before a doctor even spoke to us. She then said that she wasn’t the one who was supposed to do Stellest lens checks, but that no one else there was qualified to do it either. She then asked for my “passport”, which was apparently something that should have been issued to us at the annual exam when we got signed up to do the Stellest lenses. It hadn’t been, so she disappeared for another fifteen minutes to make a passport book for us. Then she finally saw us and scheduled us for the next check up. An hour and a half after our appointment time, our follow up was finally done. We were assured that it should be a quick one next time. Now at the next follow up, we went in and were seen immediately… only to be told that the frames that my son had for his Stellest lenses actually weren’t good for it. His eyes weren’t centered enough in the frames that we had. Mind you, this would now be the fourth time that he would have these same frames looked at (when we bought them at his annual, when he picked them up, at the first Stellest follow up, and now). She said that at least the new glasses would be free to exchange because we were under warranty still. We then spent the next forty five minutes trying on every kids frame in the store, only to find that NONE OF THEM were good for these special lenses. The doctor’s best suggestion was to go to another Target optical to have another optician try and find a pair that worked, because the other store has more experience with Stellest. So, same day, I’m driving an extra thirty minutes to another store… and the new optician proceeds to try on all the kids frames they have (the selection was actually much smaller than the first store, so that was just another frustration). She finds one pair that might possibly work, but needs her manager to okay it. The manager that won’t be in again until Tuesday (this was all going down on Saturday). She also tells me that if we can’t find a frame at a Target Optical, then we might need to go to a different eyeglasses shop and have to pay out of pocket for the new set of glasses since they wouldn’t be able to honor the Target warranty and Stellest program cost. After having already sunk well over $500 into these Stellest lenses and glasses because the original optometrist convinced us that these glasses would be the best thing for my kid, I’m now being told that I’ll have to buy a new set some where else because Target doesn’t offer a frame that works for my son. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! So, I’m very very very dissatisfied with my experience. I honestly can’t even begin to express how very angry I am about this whole situation.

So expensive it made no sense. They trick you into paying extra for a photo of your eyes which is not needed, but she made it sound like the machine was used for something else that I need. And she was rude and short the whole time. Horrible customer service

Had an appt with these folks last year, but now they won't stop badgering me for another one. Emails, texts, phone calls, I have tried opting out and they won't turn it off. Nothing but regrets on using them in the first place.

The exam was thorough, thoughtful, and I felt it was not hurried. My questions were answered, and I am happy with the care!
