Vaccinations

Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.

This vaccine protects against chickenpox, a disease caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults born in 1980 or later need two doses.

This vaccine protects against coronavirus. Depending on the manufacturer, up to two doses and a booster are currently recommended.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.

This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.

This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.

There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.

These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.

This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.

This vaccine protects against shingles, a painful skin rash caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults age 50 and older need two doses.

These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.

Physical & Wellness Screenings

Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.

When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.

Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

Pharmacy manager Jordan Califano gave me the run around for 2 months on a medication I really rely on. After simply asking if this was going to be an issue in the future she went on a full tirade in front of the entire staff and entire waiting area. She went so far as to CALL all of my providers to defame me and lie about the encounter. Unprofessional to say the least. Keep in mind I have had prescriptions denied to me on at least 3 different occasions because one specific pharmacy tech is on a power trip. I see the other reviews are all really bad, gee I wonder why, doesn’t seem like they treat anyone with respect. Her actions toward me were retaliatory and meant to bully me into changing pharmacies. I think they both need to question if they really belong in this business of helping people.

They fill perscriptions for some controlled substances, but for others they simply delete your perscription without informing you or your doctor that your care has been halted. I had my perscription sent twice and deleted twice. My doctor said when they contacted the pharmacy, they said they were uncooperative because it was a controlled substance, but I get my ADHD medicine here all the time.

Used to be good but lately nothing is ever ready and the pharmacy doesn’t fill the prescription because they think they know better than the drs. Nothing is ready when it’s supposed to be. The pharmacy staff is super rude and judgemental. Will be reporting to the state, they need a new staff overhaul . Worst pharmacy I’ve ever seen Gave them another chance and the pharmacist said “ we fill her meds as a courtesy “ excuse me? No that is your literal job! Whatever garbage pharmacist is employed here needs to be fired.

Always have issues with getting prescriptions. Took months to get my medication that I usually get once a month. March 25, 2023 went in to pick up prescriptions and asked if the doctor sent it over they lied saying it wasn't sent March 27, 2023 at 3:20p.m. they wouldn't fill that same prescription because they say you can get it over the counter they charge extra money to fill and I told her that I can cover that. She was extremely rude and just hung up on me. She also stated she was the manager. You can't just scream at me and than hang up. Instead of telling me why they couldn't in the first place would have been helpful. My doctor just kept sending prescriptions because at first they just kept saying it was because they didn't receive anything from my doctor. August 27, 2023 at 4:44pm I called to get prescriptions refilled and the lady on the phone lied saying I haven't gotten a prescription there before. I've gotten all my medication there and doctors have to put multiple orders in because they say they don't have it, it was sent to a location in another town that's 3 hours away or that I don't get that prescription.
