Vaccinations

Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.

This vaccine protects against chickenpox, a disease caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults born in 1980 or later need two doses.

This vaccine protects against coronavirus. Depending on the manufacturer, up to two doses and a booster are currently recommended.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.

This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.

This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.

There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.

These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.

This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.

This vaccine protects against shingles, a painful skin rash caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults age 50 and older need two doses.

These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.

Physical & Wellness Screenings

Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.

When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.

Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

Absolutely the worst customer service I've seen. They lost my son's perscription after waiting 4 days "for it to be ordered" only to blame me for calling the wrong pharmacy. (I didnt call the wrong pharmacy) Now my son has to wait longer due to mismanagement of his perscription. Don't waste your time or health here.

⭐ I had an unnecessarily unpleasant experience at self-checkout around 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 9. After scanning a large bag of cat food, I scanned some grapes and had an issue with the scale apparently retaining the weight of the previous item. When I tried to explain what had happened to the employee overseeing self-checkout, Tim, his response was to chide me that I needed to “follow all the directions,” rather than simply helping resolve the issue. His manner was condescending enough that I finally asked him, “Are you okay?” He sighed and walked away to get an override. What made the experience even stranger was the interaction with the two security employees nearby. I jokingly told them they might want to keep an eye on Tim because of the way he was speaking to customers. One responded, “Tim is okay, sir. We’re worried about you.” I laughed, finished the interaction, and left, but the entire experience was bizarre and unnecessarily adversarial. I came into a grocery store to buy groceries. I shouldn’t be spoken to like a child for having difficulty with the store’s self-checkout equipment, nor should security treat a customer as suspicious for objecting to being spoken to disrespectfully. Management should review how employees assigned to self-checkout and security interact with customers. A little basic courtesy would have turned this into a completely forgettable 30-second problem instead of a one-star review.

I rushed over to get my medicine in time but they closed 10mins early, so I drove all the way across town for nothing. I won't be using this pharmacy again.

Had used this pharmacy on and off for at least 20 years. Over the past several years the quality of care has gone down hill. Pharmacy techs and pharmacists getting in power struggles to the point of lying about medication being out of stock. I am on two medications I need to take on a daily basis. The last two times I tried to fill I dealt with a very unpleasant, rude woman named Sheila. Idk what is going on in her life that she feels the need to treat people the way she does. She would not let me complete a single sentence. Refused to refill my prescription even after it was more than one day past due. She accused me of abusing a med that I have been on for almost a decade with no issues. Then when I tried to express where I was coming from and count out the number of days it had been since I had last filled the rx she interrupted me again got in a few cruel words and hung up on me. I was pretty surprised and decided that I will need to find a new pharmacy without such a toxic person. Truly do feel bad for her, I have no idea why she’s as rude as she is but I’m guessing she must be very antisocial or just going through something else. But we all have crap in our lives we have to put up with. It seems wrong for her to take it out on patients just trying to fill a prescription and get on with their lives.
