Dr. Hulme has years of experience fitting numerous types of contact lenses. We have instrumentation that maps out the surface of the eye to better determine the proper fit of the Lenses. And yes we do continue to fit hard design contact lenses specifically lenses we call scherals. They are designed to cover the full surface of the eye and cover up any distortions or warps that may be a result of surgeries such as failed Lasik procedures or corneal transplant and then the condition known as keratoconus where the eye bulges forward abnormally and prevents glasses from providing good vision. There are also hybrid designs that are soft lenses that have a hard center which provide the comfort of the soft with the sharp crisp vision of hard Lens
