  How much time do you have... My eyeglass insurance recently changed so I had to come here instead of a different provider. I've been wearing contacts/glasses for over 25 years, so I have a fairly good sense of what this process should look like. I went in for my yearly exam - My prescription hasn't changed in several years - The Dr. suggested I try out a different prescription of contacts... I oblige even though I know they won't work, so at the time of appointment I did not order contacts. But I did order glasses. I ordered a pair of fun ray-bans and go home - When I try the new trial contacts, they sucked so I called and asked to get my previous prescription written up.. Nothing... so I emailed and they emailed me a prescription but it's incorrect. So I just ordered contacts off of 1800contacts and wrote in my correct prescription. That part was fine because another vendor got my contacts - They call when my glasses are ready, but I wear contacts so I pick them up and try them later (after waiting 30 mins in the store to be acknowledged by a rude guy named Noah who refused to just look at me). They ended up being completely the WRONG prescription so I call and tell them that these cannot be my glasses. They confirm that they got the prescription wrong... and said they'd reorder with my new prescription - I return the old glasses in person - I wait and my new glasses don't come in, so I go in... and someone tells me that the frames I picked don't support my prescription so they never reordered... so I pick a new pair out that they confirm can support my prescription. - Well I just picked up my new glasses... and the lens are THICK like the glasses don't look like they can even support these lens. So I ask them why that is, and they said with my prescription, these frames weren't the best choice... but NO ONE bothered to tell me that when I picked them out This entire experience took almost 2 months... with zero proactive communication from them, zero accountability, and just overall complete incompetence.

  Zero stars or maybe negative stars. Seemed cheaper online, but exam cost the same as a regular eye doctor in the end. Claimed trial contacts would arrive in 1 week. Stopped in, they were not even ordered. Called back 10 days after that: still not even ordered and was told they don't make samples of that contact, which would have been helpful to know 17 days before. Tried to use prescription to order from someone else - turns out the doctor had not signed it. Called to get a signed copy - they can have the doctor sign it when they come in next -- in 8 days. Can you reach out to the doctor before, I'm running out of contacts? "Yeah, but then I'd have to really work on it". DON'T GO HERE!!!!!! Or go when you have at least three - six months of contacts left.

  Update: first off your response to my review is more evidence of your inept business. Your response indicates I left a positive review. THAT IS FAR FROM THE TRUTH! I still have not heard back from the office or manager regarding my incorrect order. I had my appt Feb 2 and here we are March 17 and I still do not have my correct glasses. I will now be forced to go to the store bc nobody ever answers the phone. I sure hope this great manager I’ve read about in other comments is there. I need to find a other optometrist bc this place is a disappointment. I have been coming to this Target Optical for years. Dr Munro has been great to work with all these years. I’m not sure what is going on with the rest of the office. I had an exam early Feb and ordered 3 sets of lenses with my new prescription. I love my frames so I just wanted to replace the lenses and I was told that wasn’t a problem. I never got a call they were all on. It’s impossible to get anyone to answer the phone and the voicemail is always full. I stopped in to see if my complete order was ready to pick up only to find out they ordered all new frames and lenses and the prescriptions were wrong. I am incredibly disappointed and annoyed beyond belief. I’m wondering if I should just cancel my whole order and change offices now. I cannot believe how disorganized and poorly managed this office is.
