Vaccinations

Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.

This vaccine protects against chickenpox, a disease caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults born in 1980 or later need two doses.

This vaccine protects against coronavirus. Depending on the manufacturer, up to two doses and a booster are currently recommended.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.

This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.

This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.

There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.

These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.

This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.

This vaccine protects against shingles, a painful skin rash caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults age 50 and older need two doses.

These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.

Physical & Wellness Screenings

Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.

When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.

Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

Hello! Been shopping here since I was in diapers. I went in here to buy a $30 DraftKings Gift card the other day for my nephew. Yes people, Thirty Dollars. That’s how I am teaching him to budget, set a limit and so forth. I would rather work with him to figure it out, than him do it behind my back. With that being said, I'll keep this short and simple. So, Daniel and his long-hair rocker co-worker made up policies on the fly with no proof or reason. I simply wanted to pay $10 in cash and the rest on my debit card for the gift card. The rocker kid was basically making it a seen and apparent to the whole line, including to my neighbor, that I was buying a gambling website card and I can not split tenders. He was the farthest from professional, or even have a sense of common courtesy. He raised his voice and was beyond rude. I sure hope he does not cover your pharmacy counter, as there are HIPPA laws which I am sure he does not care about. Those are two different scenarios but his lack of customer service and integrity are only 20 feet from that pharmacy counter. To conclude, I had a short conversation with Daniel. I told him know matter what he thinks, I am still a member of this community and I shop here all the time. I pay, I have a shirt and shoes on. You should respect your customers. Daniel looked at me with not even the slightest sense of compassion, care for his position or integrity. I also went to the meat department where I had the store manager paged twice. She never showed up. In the end, it’s hard to point the finger at Daniel or the long-haired rocker guy due to the lack of leadership. I have been there before, I know how it is. However, being the individual, this happened to, when you walk in here and Daniel and his long-haired buddy put on an act like they care and they appreciate you being a valued customer. It’s all an act and you should be ashamed of yourselves. Yes, that includes your store manager. Thank you. Mr. Mike

The pharmacist thinks she’s a doctor and refused to fill my pain medication. Absolutely terrible experience with the King Soopers pharmacy. I recently had surgery and my doctor prescribed additional pain medication because I’m still dealing with significant pain and swelling. The pharmacy refused to fill it, claiming it was “too early,” even though this was a new prescription ordered directly by my doctor. Instead of contacting my doctor, explaining options, or showing any compassion, they simply refused and sent me away while I’m recovering from surgery and in real pain. It’s unbelievable that a pharmacy thinks they know better than the physician actually treating the patient. Patients recovering from surgery shouldn’t have to fight with a pharmacy to get medication their doctor says they need. The lack of care, communication, and basic empathy here is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend going somewhere else if you actually want to be treated like a human being instead of a problem.

Heroes. Every time I’ve ever called them to try to get a prescription filled same day, they’ve been able to do it within the hour.

Personally had a great experience here! Pharmacy tech Jason was very helpful, he made sure to get me the best option available. The pharmacist even came to help out the front desk when the line was longer. Super easy!
