Never had an issue with this place. Drove an hour and a half for them to tell me THEN that they don't take my insurance and they put me as self pay. Not when I made the appointment and gave all my info weeks ago, but when I got a babysitter for my two infants, drove an hour and a half for this appointment and was there checking in. Not during the confirmations leading up to the appointment nothing. Does no one check the schedule days prior when confirming, and double check the people that are "out of network" actually know they are out of network instead of not telling them when they initially book, and just putting them as self pay? Assuming everyone wants to pay out of pocket? Such a waste of my time I never had an issue with this place and getting exams done and coverage, I guess a lot has changed over the past year. I have never worked in a medical office that when confirming 10 days out, 3 days out, and then one day prior for the upcoming appointment, that the staff does not have a list of who's scheduled with their reason for appt and insurance info. ESPECIALLY not confirming the out of network clients knowing they will be billed as self pay and letting them know the out of pocket amounts. Because clearly all the staff taking calls are not being trained enough to know what insurances you do and do not take. Print it out and laminate it for your receptionists and tape it next to their phones its that simple. How do you guys not operate efficiently like that? Its very bold to not advise when someone calls in making the appointment over the phone that the client is out of network and you put them in as self pay on your own doing until they find out upon arrival. Shame on you. This is no skin off your backs but it was a massive lump some of money, travel, time, and gas for nothing for me.

Worst experience ever! Given an incorrect Rx. Billed incorrectly. Treated very rudely by their biller who didn’t want to bother billing my primary insurance of BC/BS FEP vision because “they’re difficult” so I had to do her job for her. Had to call several times to get my receipt to submit my claim to insurance myself. Was made to pay $83 for an appointment that my insurance said should have cost $0 was given a glasses prescription for a contact appointment wand with an incorrect RX anyway. And after discussing with friends and coworkers my experience there, they all had similar experiences such as incorrect dx of cataracts, astigmatism, etc. DO NOT GO HERE. It will be a waste of your time and you will just need to reschedule with another eye doctor to get an accurate Rx.

Kiara was wonderful to help me find the pair of glasses that I wanted. She was friendly and efficient with the time she spent with me. She let me know what my insurance would cover and is very good at her job.
