  This is an unethical, cruel practice. It must be failing so they’re creating work on existing patients. I went in for a routine dental cleaning. I had been going to this practice for five years. I always had Tosha for my hygienist. I’ve always taken excellent care of my teeth. Because we all know how expensive dental work can be. To start the appointment I would give her my night guard to put through their cleaning machine. For the last probably three or four visits I’ve been noticing my night guard would feel loose and after cleaning it Felt snug that evening. I’m a trusting person. I didn’t think anything of it really. Tosha laid the chair really flat and clipped something to my bib. She was on the back counter. Normally she just had a tray and she said well let’s just do this. I thought maybe she was in a bad mood. The next thing I know she’s working on my gums. I thought maybe she had looked away and didn’t realize at one point I had enough clarity to move my head. That must be when the next tooth got gouged. I heard her say let’s just numb this some more. she also said all this complaining about this tooth. You won’t be complaining about this much longer. You know when you go into the dentist office, they ask us anything bothering you. Well that Mohler did have a chip and it was sensitive to the cold. Dr. Feghali at one point filed it down so it wouldn’t chip further.Seemed reasonable . I don’t feel like I was complaining. I was just pointing out. It was sensitive to the cold. She must’ve turned the gas up at this point the next thing I realize Dr. Feghali is standing over me saying OPEN. Tosha grabbed something of my face and spun around and suddenly it seemed lighter in the room. They had to put dark sunglasses on me during her procedure. Much to my horror. I was confused and Dr. Feghali exclaimed “oh my that looks painful. I can fill that in for you.” I told him I’ve always had good margins and it doesn’t bother me at all. I felt it with my tongue and of course it was still numb. I didn’t feel anything. I really wanted to get out of that chair and go home and see what they did to me. Tosha finishes up with a 30 second tooth polishing hands me my night guard stands in the hall like usual and loudly says, and “she wears her night guard every night. “It took about two weeks to get in to see another dentist. He took a bunch of pictures. He showed me one picture where my gum was shredded hanging down on one tooth and commented on how even my root was exposed on another tooth not really in line with normal recession. I hate to even say that.Its just going to give them feedback on their next gum removal when they read this. I did post a review on their site. There were four reviews mine being one of them. This guy supposedly has been practicing for 30+ years and only has four reviews???. well they have since taken my posting down. I called the police since I’m pretty sure you can’t use a diversion such as gas and numbing to mutilate somebody’s mouth. They said it was civil and I would have to hire an attorney. I called an attorney and he said it would be $20-$25,000 for an expert witness to testify that this was not normal recession and that the dentist was at fault. And that’s just for the expert witness that would not include the attorney fees. I called the dental board and they referred me to the Department of regulatory agencies. They wanted everything in writing so I sent it in. Weeks later they opened a case against him. By this time, I started lisping. I noticed my top front tooth was chipped and my bottom front tooth was pushed forward. I looked inside the night guard, and there were no imprint of my teeth. They had been using my night guard to shove my teeth crooked. I now have Invisalign for $7000 and I’m 65 years old. I work for the Post Office. I’m pretty sure they thought I had Post Office insurance. I’m a contractor so I don’t have any dental coverage. I need to get in to see a periodontist to see if anything can be done about my gums.

  My wife and I both really like Dr.Toth’s team. Shasta is our hygienist and she does a good work & is kind and friendly. Char, Dr. Toth’s assistant is top notch also very kind and helpful! Dr. Toth and his team are solid. We’ve always felt great care and professionalism! Highly recommend.

  I am ever impressed with Dr Feghali and all of the staff at GJ Smiles. Not only are they friendly and attentive, but consistently provide quality work on my teeth. I’ve been a patient for years and appreciate the comfort and personal care that is consistent. My hygienist is fantastic, friendly, and efficient. Thank you!
