The staff is arrogent and quite dishonest. They don't take my insurance when the website explicitly says they do and wanted me to pay $104. I don't mind not coming back and giving my business to another office.

Been wearing progressives for years. I wanted to try a line bifocal. So I got those and a new pair of progressives. The progressives are not cut right. The top is blurry.. cant see far through them. Called them two days later. Less than helpful. Tried to wear them.. two weeks. Took them in today. They acted like im stupid because the line bifocal pair... That my brain can't differentiate. Im like look. I been wearing progressives for years. The line bifocal is for evening TV and are not the issue. I can see far out of the top of the bifocal. I can see far out of my old prescriptions, and I cant put of this new one ! But they don't care. Girl checked um. Say theyre cut how the DR. prescribed. And how would I know different? Right? I know different because THESE LENSES ARE THICK AND NOT GROUND CORRECTLY AT THE TOP. I CANT SEE FAR WITH THEM. Don't be patronizing idiots. Never will go back and I thought with the new DR things might be better. Ill pay 300 dollars for another pair not made there from the new prescription and ill lay odds I can see far with them without the eye strain. And. The other girl there dismissed me from her station as I was gathering my things to move anyway.. she says go sit over there. Well duh. What do u think I was doing.

Oh honey… buckle up, because this one deserves a slow clap and a side-eye. So my daughter decided to trust EyeMart Express in Grand Junction, bold choice apparently. What followed? An absolute Insurance Hunger Games: Optical Edition. Let’s start with the basics: she needed a simple list of benefits faxed directly from her insurance. Standard. Normal. Happens every day. Meanwhile, her husband waltzes into another EyeMart Express location like it’s a VIP lounge, appointment, exam, glasses, DONE the same day. Efficiency? We love to see it… just not here, apparently. Now this location? Oh no, they said the doctor doesn’t take her insurance. Fine. Annoying, but fine, I get it, out of pocket it is. But tell me why EVERYTHING ELSE also fell apart like a clearance rack sandal? Enter: the sales clerk. Suspicious. Unhelpful. Acting like my daughter was trying to commit identity fraud just to get a pair of frames. Claimed the insurance company had “no record of her.” None. Zero. Vanished into the void. Meanwhile*plot twist*my daughter can literally pull up her info on the portal, and so can her husband. It’s maggggggiccccc! So my daughter, being more patient than I would’ve been, asks, “Hey… what number are you calling?”
Turns out… wrong number. WRONG. NUMBER. And instead of, I don’t know, fixing it? Calling the correct one? Doing literally the bare minimum? Miss Thing says she’ll just “keep trying.” Keep trying WHAT, sunshine?? Dialing into the abyss?? Communicating with spirits?? At this point it’s less customer service and more performance art.Angel baby… figure it out. Service: zero. Effort: negative. Vibes: aggressively unhelpful. I’m giving this place one star with a full-body sneer. Grand Junction, do better.

Dr. Hicks is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. This was my first time there and I loved how much information she gave me about my exam and that she showed pictures from the exam and took the time to explain what everything was. The other ladies in the office were amazing as well! They were quick to help and just as knowledgeable! I will be going here from now on. ♥️

So much to cover here, I will try to keep it short and to the point. It is a 2hr drive each way. I scheduled an appointment and at my appointment I explained what I needed in a new pair of glasses and new lenses for my old pair. I received two separate text messages stating "your glasses (1 of 2) are ready to be picked up." and then "your glasses (2 of 2) are ready to be picked up." I drove 2hrs Saturday to pick up and when I got there they had the new frames with lenses ready. The replacement lenses were not going to be ready until Tuesday! The manager told me I couldn't have received that text because they are not ready. I showed her the text and she shrugged her shoulders and said "I don't know what to say, we can't have them ready if we don't have your old frame." I told her that I asked the lady that sold me the replacement lenses if I needed to leave mine and she said no. I put the new frames with lenses on and my vision was worse! I asked her if that should happen. She told me "It will take a few weeks to get used to them." I questioned this and got several answers that made no sense. It only got worse from here!!!
