Prior to that, I had been dealing with a brutal year of plantar fasciitis and a heel spur. I tried everything, literally everything. I even went to a foot surgeon in Oct 2025 and they gave me some "special" orthotics, which didn't work, and a cortisone shot, which provided relief for 3 days and then made the pain 10x worse. Then I tried taping my foot every day with KT tape, which provided the best relief, but I got sick of that after 3 months and decided to try The Good Feet Store. My initial feeling was a well-marketed and high-tech sales pitch made by someone who is simply trained to sell the product and has absolutely no knowledge of treating foot pain - that is how it is. The initial scan of my feet were totally bogus, claiming 2 whole sizes higher than the shoe size I've been fit in for my entire life. So that seemed weird. The sales lady walked me through everything and then told me about the packages and pricing and I about fell over. *Plan on spending 5x more than you would think.* I put the new inserts and cushions in my shoes and walked off. My feet were very sore the first week or so, definitely follow their recommended plan. But they did start to provide some relief. I felt like my feet were swimming in the overpriced Brooks Shoes they gave me. I went back a week later and talked to a different guy who resized my feet. He fit me in a 10.5, the size I've always worn. Exchanged the shoes no problem. *** August 18th, 2026 went back into the store for a check-up. Another salesman re-scanned my feet and said they've changed, he had a look at my strengthener inserts and said they were completely worn out. Gave me some new ones, easy peasey. He said to bring all of my other inserts in too to have a look. So I'll do that soon. They initially gave me 4 pairs of cushions in April, I've worn out all of them. They have these little toe-lifter ramps on them under the big toe - all of those ramps have peeled off. So I asked for more and the cost for those was $140. Absolutely asinine. I had to pay to get more of something of low quality that I can't control. He gave me a 10% discount (whoopie). That sucks, I'm probably going to figure out another cushion option, I'm not paying $140 for cushions that fall apart every 4 months. *** August 21st, 2026 - the big test, Mt Bierstadt. My first big hike in over a year (been doing lots of small/medium hikes). I put my 'athletic maintainers" in my hiking boots. Started out great, very stable and comfortable. Made it to the top in faily good shape but my feet were getting sore and then the wheels came off and I barely made it back to my truck. My heels and plantar hurt so bad, it was by far worse then they have ever felt. Back to square one. No so sure about The Good Feet Store right now. I'm going to go in again to discuss. Also, the toe-ramp fell off of the new cushions, surprise surprise!

He paid over $2000 for a system that made his feet hurt more! They said they would issue a refund and didn’t stick behind that. He now has store credit for goods that are not wanted or needed. I would not recommend going there for anything!
