  Dr. Gallegos needs to retire! If I could give zero stars I would! I had a traumatic fall 2.5 years ago where three of my front teeth were shattered. I was told she was the best in the area, so I’ve been trying to work with her for more than a year now in between orthodontist appointments. Dr. Gallegos has been extremely flippant about the trauma I’ve endured, how it has impacted my mental and physical health, and how to restore my smile to its original form. She has never had a full consultation with me to discuss treatment options, and brushes me off when I try to ask questions about the treatment that the rest of my treatment team has supposedly discussed with her. Despite being in my 40s, he treats me like a child who couldn’t possibly understand the explanation behind her treatment decisions, and should just trust her judgement, even when it is in opposition to what my orthodontist and oral surgeon have discussed with her. She charged me $800 for a dental appliance I can’t even use, because she was unwilling to discuss the process when I tried to ask questions about the treatment. She expected me to just be okay with walking around with a toothless gap in the front of my mouth for 6-12 months while the rest of my dental team finished their part of the process, despite being told on multiple occasions that the damage to my smile already makes me want to unalive myself without thinking about the gap in my mouth. I will be going to another dental specialist to complete the remaining cosmetic repair work, because the trauma of having to tell someone new my whole story seems less harmful in the long run than having to continue to work with someone who refused to include me in the decision making process and possibly would not have given me what I needed/wanted. Lord knows I don’t have another $10k to shell out to another dentist if she didn’t do a good job.

  I've been with Dr. Gallegos for 5 years now as a patient, and for good reason. I had a horrible experience with a previous dentist who completely bungled my original dental implants. It was so bad I had to have them completely removed. The surgeon who removed them referred me to Dr. Gallegos. He described her as an architect of dental implants and how right he was. After several prototypes she made for me and tested, we came upon the right solution and my new implants (now a year in) are night and day from the old ones because Dr. Gallegos correctly diagnosed my bite and bite strength. I have never met a more patient, intelligent, or skilled dentist. It is no understatement for me to say she was and is a "miracle worker". And her key right-hand assistant Mimi is absolutely wonderful. After you have had the rest, try the best-Dr. Gallegos and her team. They are wonderful with patients and caring, smart, and kind. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

  Dr Gallegos is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. She and her staff are all competent and caring. I alternate seeing her and a periodontist. Everyone at the Periodontists office has the highest regard for her as well.

  I had been in a serious car accident where I had gotten knocked around in my car by an aggressive driver in a truck. I went here to get my teeth checked to make certain that my back teeth weren't badly damaged. I had been jammed into an appointment where she barely had time to see me. I didn't appreciate her comment on my hair and did not appreciate how she literally banged around on my teeth with her metal utensils and said that my teeth were fine. The more I think about this incident the more enraged and perturbed I become. Was charged 200 dollars just so she could insult me and bang on my teeth. My bottom jaw and back molar are still in pain. Needless to say I canceled my follow up appointment and will not be returning.
