As I was leaving the mall today, the screw in my glasses' frame popped out and was nowhere to be found. I contacted LensCrafters at the mall and was promptly helped by Karina. She found the correct size screw and fixed my glasses (at no charge) without an appointment, Customer service was excellent, even though I had not purchased my glasses through their business.. Will definitely be thinking about LensCrafters for my next pair of glasses.

I’ve been to this LensCrafters before and had a pleasant and easy experience. My second time coming in was far less so. Firstly, the optometrist wrote an error in my prescription. When calling LensCrafters about this, they recommended I just wear them for a week to adjust my eyes. I came in again to get them fixed, and they remade them (the glasses had the same error). LensCrafters then said they would schedule an appointment with the optometrist to do an Rx check, which I appreciated. I went in for my scheduled appointment, only to have the doctor’s office say the appointment did not exist, and I had to reschedule them. After getting my prescription fixed and removing the typo, LensCrafters had to remake the lenses again. During both times that LensCrafters remade the lenses, I waited to receive a notification saying they were finished. Instead, after waiting a week, I had to call to see if they were done, then after doing so they texted me immediately saying they were done. This gives me the impression that they are so behind in orders, or simply wait until the customer calls to finish them. During this entire experience - with the exception of two staff members - the staff were rude and seemed uninterested and bothered. There is no communication between LensCrafters and Winnick and associates, and while all of this is going on, they sell very high priced products. This entire experience took over a month and required me to pay for parking multiple times (since it is located in the CC mall). I won’t go again.

I went into LensCrafters yesterday looking for new frames for my new prescription. Karina pleasantly greeted as I browsed. She gave me space to look on my own but also offered suggestions. She patiently helped as I tried on various frames & provided feedback when I asked. Once I found the one, she took the time to go over what insurance covered &/or didn’t. Though the store was busy, she maintained focused on me.
My so who wears glasses, was with me & the lense happened to popped out of the frame of his glasses. He complained about his glasses being crooked too. Karina took the time to fix them too!
Karina not only provided exceptional customer service but was so knowledgeable!
Thank you so much for your help, Karina!
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
