Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

Wow. Nothing like being told they won't fill your script because you're not "one of their own people"...even tho I currently have 5 other scripts there waiting to be picked up, so I most definitely *WAS* one of their own people. Clearly I'm not wanted at my own neighborhood pharmacy. Noted, thanks.

I have been coming here for years and have nothing but respect and praise for the team manning the pharmacy here. I’m soon getting new private insurance and my number one question was will I still be able to come here for my prescription needs. I don’t envy them; I think it’s an intense and stressful workload /workflow but nonetheless they show up each day and give their best. (And I have seen people be very unkind to them; they are dealing with a lot that is unseen including an often cumbersome and clunky healthcare system) Thanks guys!!🙏🏻

Awful experience with the pharmacy manager Tay. Stopped in yesterday and they told me they were filling my medication because my insurance denied it, I told them I don’t have insurance. Asia who was helping me yesterday was wonderful, she told me they’d have it ready by 5 that day but I was busy between 5-8 so I told her I’d come back the next day.
Go back the next day, a new lady was helping me who was also very friendly, but she told me they flagged the medication as “too soon to be filled.” It’s my first time ever getting this medication so that’s impossible. I asked when they could fill it and they told me tomorrow. I don’t have time tomorrow, this was the only time I could come in. I asked if they could fill it today and Tay, the pharmacy manager, tells me “no you can go somewhere else.” So I explained the situation again and told them who worked with me, Tay lied and told me they don’t have an employee by that name. The other two employees there today told Tay that Asia does work there.
Eventually Tay gets them to call security on me, so as the security is walking over, I explained the situation to them and the security guards told me I could stay. They were very nice and helpful too. I told them I’ll walk away either way, so I went up to the customer service desk to ask for a manager. Eventually Philip the assistant store manager came over to ask what happened. Another awesome employee. He was very apologetic and was trying to make the situation right. He even said he wish he had known what was going on, I told him I asked if there was any other manager I could speak to but Tay said no she was the only manager. I asked Philip if he could go check to see how long the pharmacy they transferred my medication to could fill it in. Tay told Philip they’d have it ready in 15-30 minutes which is what he told me.
As I’m leaving I call the other pharmacy to see how long until it’s ready, they told me they’re waiting for the medication profile to be sent over then it will be an hour and that they told the pharmacy that. So Tay lied again. Then I asked if they were waiting on the prescription profile to be sent over by the previous pharmacy, she said yes and that they have already tried reaching out six times to get it sent over but they are refusing to send it.
So not only was this pharmacy refusing to fill my medication, they’re refusing to send my medication to another pharmacy to get it filled. If this was a life threatening medication, I would be so screwed, all because Tay is an awful, rude, and vindictive employee.
Seriously loved King Soopers, but I already told my psychiatrist to send my medication elsewhere in the future. I may go back for groceries at some point solely because every other employee was wonderful but I still have my reservations against even that.

Enjoyed my time here. Quality was there, just a minor hiccup. Will try again soon.
