The DTC Barre 3 Studio is outstanding! I cannot say enough about the instructors - they are positive, upbeat, and encouraging. I look forward to every class and wish I had time to take more. In addition, the studio is spotless and well organized further enhancing a very pleasant workout experience

Enrolled in an evening, weekday class. Had a ton of trouble finding parking and was about 3 minutes late walking into class. Their policy states up to five minutes is allowed. I booked the class on ClassPass, so I can try gyms without committing to them long term. ClassPass has a pretty rigid cancellation and no show policy that charges upward of $20 for no shows and late cancellations. By the time we were checked in with the receptionist, about five minutes had passed. The receptionist said they typically don't let people in that late to class, but would allow us to if we wanted. The studio space is incredibly small. We walked over to the workout space and the class was onbnoxiously overbooked. It seemed like there were 20 people in class and the class reasonably should have only had about 10. We were not comfortable proceeding because it felt like an intrusion to other people's space and felt like we wouldn't have our own room to join the workout. We elected not to attend the class. We asked the receptionist not to mark us as "no show" since we did show, but felt that the class was oversold and we were not comfortable proceeding. The receptionist noted that typically they would have to mark us as a "no show" but that she would see what she could do. I ended up getting charged the no show fee and to my surprise, then got an email from someone at the studio apologizing, saying basically that they know that parking is a nightmare, and that they understood why we felt overwhelmed and chose not to attend. If that was the case, then why charge me for not attending the class? To top it off, they also offered to have us come back for a "free" class to make up for the negative experience. This was really frustrating considering it wouldn't even be a free class. It would just be getting my money back that they charged me?? Super annoyed with this experience and definitely will not be trying out this gym or any other barre3 gyms again. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.
