- ISIan StrainJun 4, 20261.0I’ve never had so many troubles with an optometrist in my life. Dr. Kincaid is nice enough but it seems like the place is just run poorly. Received the wrong prescription multiple times and wasn’t notified when contacts arrived. If you value your time, look elsewhere. Further details below: 1. During my exam, 3 separate employees shined a very bright light in my eyes multiple times. Left with a migraine. In my experience, this happens only once an exam instead of 5 times. 2. My first pair of contacts I received was completely wrong. Maybe from the multiple people giving me an exam? 3. I was never notified that my contacts had arrived. I called almost a month after my exam and they replied that they had just come in this morning. What a crazy (truly unbelievable) coincidence. 4. Had to come back in for a whole new eye exam. 5. Finally got the right contacts, after months. 6. Asked for my prescription to get glasses at a third party and you guessed it…that prescription was wrong. 7. When I asked for the correct glasses prescription, I was told to come in for another exam. That would be 3 exams in 3 months just to get some contacts and glasses.
