  Great experience. Dr. Brown was wonderful and super fun to talk to. We will definitely be back to the Boulder location again. Everyone was friendly and helpful. 10/10 My daughter and I can't wait to get our new glasses.

  Update : I subsequently heard from the manager who helped me select new frames. I also had my vision retested. The prescription was adjusted based on this new test. I selected inexpensive lenses, which were previously not offered to me, which cut the price in half. If I had been given this level of service on the first visit, I would probably give a 4 or 5 star rating. Because I had to push back to get the outcome and spent extra time on a phone call and two return visits to the office, I am splitting the difference between my initial 1 star rating and this revised one. Overall, I would give 2.5 stars. Since that's not possible, I am rounding up to 3 with a note of "buyer beware." Original review: I had a low quality experience at this store. The doctor was great but the service for frames and at check out was poor. Extra costs were added without explanation. I thought they were part of the normal expenses, rather than optional upcharges. When I asked for help selecting frames, I was told it’s just personal opinion. I was not given a receipt. I was asked to sign a receipt and then told it was not for me. When the glasses did not help my vision for driving, which was my stated goal along with for watching TV, I was told to give them a try for 2 or more weeks to see how they worked. They have not improved over time. I called the office. No answer. Went to voicemail. I left a message asking the manager to call me back. After 24 hours, nothing. I should have been more vigilant and demanded a receipt. My mistake in trusting them to provide good service. I will keep pursuing this given the expense, but at this point, I cannot recommend them.

  I have gotten my exams at this location many times. I've ordered many pairs of glasses from them. Something has changed recently and it's not for the better. For years, there was a man in the main area, although he said he hated his job, he was pretty helpful and definitely knowledgeable. I went about a month ago. The eye exam was fine, the doc was excellent. There were two women running the front of the store. One seemed new and needed a lot of help from the other lady. Regardless, I ordered expensive glasses and was told it would be 2 weeks. I never heard from anyone, so I called them 3 weeks later. When I called they said my glasses were made wrong, that they would send them back to the lab, and put a rush on them. I called a week later an they had no idea when my glasses would be ready. They said, "I'll call the lab to get an ETA and I'll call you back." Haven't heard back. I have left two messages and never got a call back. I'm not sure when my glasses will be ready. This will probably be the last time I use Pearle Vision in Boulder.
