Everybody gripes about Luxxotica’s monopoly on the eyeglasses market. But after years of trying with the various inexpensive brands I just spent over $1,000 on three pairs of glasses at Lens Crafters and they’re all great. The lenses are better, the people in the stores are experienced professionals who have often been working there for years, and I can return the glasses for just about any reason. And I can get the same frame in many colors so I can have glasses that fit and are easy to tell apart. That’s worth the money to this half-blind nerd. I love the staff at this store. They’re friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I’ve tried the discount brands and I always end up back here. It’s worth the premium pricing.

My experience with the personnel at LensCrafters, and especially Chris, is that they are exceedingly patient and helpful, and they truly care about providing precisely the correct eyeglasses which are not only needed, but most specifically sought in accordance with one's individual style-preferences. They are also most attentive to applying any promotional discounts which are available as well as utilizing the full extent of what is offered by one's health insurance coverage. Therefore they certainly receive my highest recommendation.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters Optique

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
