- MFMiles Furber1 day ago1.0Terrible pharmacist, she refused to give me syringes and needles without a separate prescription (I had a prescription for an injection medication). She lied to me about federal policy regarding needle and syringe prescription requirements which there are none, she also stated federal policy trumped state laws which is not true, again because there is no federal policy regarding needles and syringes. Colorado state law states that all pharmacists and pharmacy techs are allowed to give needles and syringes to any patient. When asked about this she claimed it was up to her and she wouldn’t give needles out to “sketchy people” which is in direct violation of Kroger non discrimination policy. I pointed out that it has been proven time and time again through countless studies that even if I was a drug abuser that access to clean needles drastically reduces drug related deaths in communities and she just said it was up to her. This is incredibly disturbing behavior, I hope there is disciplinary action taken by Kroger.
