Vaccinations

Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.

This vaccine protects against chickenpox, a disease caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults born in 1980 or later need two doses.

This vaccine protects against coronavirus. Depending on the manufacturer, up to two doses and a booster are currently recommended.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.

This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.

This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.

There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.

These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.

This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.

This vaccine protects against shingles, a painful skin rash caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults age 50 and older need two doses.

These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.

Physical & Wellness Screenings

Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.

When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.

Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

I had a very disappointing experience at this pharmacy. I came to pick up post operative medications, which were very important for recovery after surgery. There were supposed to be two medications, but the pharmacy staff only gave me one. I understand mistakes can happen, but this was not a small detail. These were post surgery medications, and missing one could affect the patient’s recovery and comfort. I consider this a serious oversight and very careless service. I expected better attention and responsibility, especially when dealing with post operative prescriptions. Please make sure to double check medications before giving them to patients

The employees for the floral and customer service desk as well as the managers are more than helpful, offering to do so much extra for me over the phone. I called from Chicago to get my wife some flowers and candies unable to order through the app for pickup, they made sure I knew what items I had to choose from a long with even figuring prices for each individually. Allowing for my wife to be surprised as she came into the store. Their display customer service shows they value their customers. Exemplary customer appreciation, thank you Tod and Arlette

This Pharmacy is a joke! Called them couple days before our client’s medications run out they confirmed on the phone that it was ok that We can pick it up on Tuesday which is today but before we pick it up I called in the morning around 9:51 AM to make sure and a lady on the phone said that it needs to be refill and it’s not ready so I asked what time can I pick it up because I’m far away from your location she said come at 2PM. I show up there 2:04 PM a gentleman said nope it’s not ready yet I need to come back after 3:30PM I asked him can you just give me an emergency supply at least just 1 table or something so I can come back tomorrow and he said no. I told him why then the lady told me to come at 2PM he said they don’t have any lady that working there in the morning. What a liar!!!! It was such a bad experience that I ever had with Any Pharmacy. I will definitely share this bad experience to my other business partners and friends. We will never return to this location ever!!!

While I really appreciated the pharmacy filling my prescription very quickly I did not have my Medicaid card on me because I had just come straight from work and was expecting to fill it at Walgreens. Apparently King Soopers will not allow you to just give your Medicaid number so I had to pay full price. I explained that I am homeless but apparently King Soopers needs the money more than I do.
