Dr Kaneta is absolutely wonderful - very kind, relatable, and clearly interested in your vision comfort. She spent a long time with me teaching how to use contacts and took extra time to ensure I got my lenses same day for a wedding. Highly recommend!

Dr. So was great, it was my first eye exam with her and she was very informative and helpful. It was also my first contact lens exam and I was able to go home with some trial lenses, she also fit in some time to train me a bit on how to use them before her next appointment arrived :)

I came into the Target Optical location after having such a wonderful experience on a previous visit. The first time I came in, a kind employee greeted me with a big smile right away, encouraged me to try on any frames I liked, answered all of my questions, and explained the payment plan options available. Because of how helpful she was, I decided to come back to purchase my glasses.
Unfortunately, my visit today (8/6) was completely different. I was helped by an older employee named Julianna, and I left feeling disappointed.
When I arrived, there were only a few customers in the store. I told her I just had a few questions. I asked what insurance plans they accepted, how much an eye exam costs, and whether I could book an appointment there or online. Although she answered my questions, her tone made me feel like I was bothering her. When I asked if she could schedule the appointment since I was already there, she did, but it felt like she didn’t want to.
I also asked about frame pricing. She asked my age, which I didn’t understand because it didn’t seem relevant to my questions. When I asked about the price of specific frames, I didn’t receive much guidance and felt brushed off instead of helped.
What stood out the most was that while I was waiting, another customer a mother and daughter came in, and Julianna greeted them with much more enthusiasm. She was smiling, chatting with them, and seemed genuinely happy to help them. Seeing that difference made me feel unwelcome and overlooked.
I don’t know why my experience was so different, but I left feeling discouraged. Whether it was intentional or not, I felt like I wasn’t treated with the same level of respect and customer service as other customers.
I’m leaving this review because I know this location is capable of providing excellent service—the employee who helped me on my first visit proved that. I just hope everyone who walks through the door receives that same kindness and attention.
