  O stars if possible. Pickup experience, rating is 0. Exam was Sept 11, rating 4. Voicemail Sept 16 that 1 of 2 frames/lenses were ready. Given there were 2 pairs, I wanted to pick up both together. I waited for a second call for the 2nd pair. On the 8th business day, Sept 23rd, I called. I was told still showing “in delivery”. I did not hear anything over the period of Sept 23rd-30th. I called again on October 1st where I was told both pairs were ready. Learned they were ready as of Sept 17th!!! After 3+ weeks of no glasses (don’t wear contacts; using 5-yr old glasses), pick up 10/3. Will asked if I had paid for my eye exam. I had a receipt, apparently he forgot to add my exam to my husband’s. He also forgot to ring up my husband’s contacts until told to. I didn’t feel I should pay for a forgotten exam, especially after a 3-week delay. Will asserted if I didn’t pay, it would be theft and threatened to involve police if I took the glasses I paid for!! $1k for lenses, this was beyond offensive. Will has no business working with people. This was the most unacceptable experience I have ever had in a medical setting. Dr. Dehdia, Amy, Danielle are all amazing. Will never return to this store or Lenscrafters ever again.

  Very strange 1st experience with this LensCrafters Walnut Creek location. Be careful and make sure you know your insurance coverages beforehand . They 100% TRIED TO SCAM ME by charging me 4X what I was supposed to pay. Made it look like they are applying the insurance and discounts but it’s all BS. The person even purposely entered my cell number and email address off by one digit so that I couldn’t analyze the reciept. He told me he would email it when I asked for the reciept after paying and of course I never got anything. The cost just didn’t make sense to me because I had gotten similar glasses a couple of months ago from Costco that I lost and was replacing. I contacted my insurance company and they verified that I was grossly overcharged for some reason. When I realized what happened and went back the next day to cancel the order and get a refund ( the person that “helped” me wasn’t there ) They reviewed the order , processed the refund and gave no explanation or apologies saying they “don’t know” lol Then later tried to gaslight and double talk me with a bunch of nonscience about special lenses that was never mentioned or indicated in the over an hour that I was there the previous day 🙄 I don’t know how these people sleep at night but times must really be hard! Beware!!

  Very nice well stocked store with lots of brands and models to choose from. Gabby tightened my current lenses and gave me an honest assessment of my glasses without pushing for a hard sell.
