  I love Club Pilates Villa Park!! All of the teachers are great and My fav is Hsin…she is extraordinary! I love learning from her and taking her classes. She is an authentic Joe Pilates teacher at every level! Best way to start my day!!

  My schedule is crazy, so I take class whenever I can squeeze it in. Lots of amazing instructors. Hsin explains everything that’s going on, Meagan really challenges me, and went to Ashley‘s class for the first time and she was amazing. Great communication from Clara, office staff when there are cancellations so you can get in when you’re on the waitlist.

  Very disappointed with the customer service at Club Pilates Villa Park. I signed up for an intro class and rearranged my entire evening to attend, but unexpected traffic delayed me. Google Maps showed I would arrive only 2 minutes late, so I called ahead to let them know. The receptionist, Heili, was rude and repeatedly stated that even being 1 minute late meant I would not be allowed in due to their strict policy. There was no effort to be accommodating, no offer to see if an exception could be made, and no flexibility whatsoever for a first-time introductory class. I understand studios have policies, but customer service matters. If there is zero flexibility for a prospective new customer attending an intro class, it raises concerns about the overall experience. As a result, I chose to look elsewhere and they lost not only me, but also two friends who were considering joining. Poor customer service cost them three potential customers.

  ⭐⭐☆☆☆ The instructors and the quality of the Pilates classes are excellent. My concern is specifically with the studio’s waitlist and cancellation policy. Members are required to cancel at least 24 hours before class in order to avoid losing a class credit or being charged. However, the waitlist system may automatically move a member into a class less than 24 hours before it begins, without first asking the member to confirm whether they are still available. What makes this more concerning is that the notification is sent only by email, not by text message. Email is not always seen immediately, especially during a busy workday. A member can therefore be automatically enrolled without realizing it, miss the email, and lose a class credit even though they never actively accepted the spot. That is exactly what happened to me. After I contacted the studio, the office staff offered to let me attend another class later that same day. I appreciate that they tried to offer an alternative, but that does not solve the underlying issue. Being available for the original class does not mean I would also be available for another class at a different time on the same day. The studio requires members to provide 24 hours’ notice to cancel, yet it may place someone into a class within that same 24-hour window, notify them only by email, and hold them financially responsible without receiving confirmation. If a waitlist spot becomes available within the 24-hour cancellation window, the member should be required to actively accept the spot before being charged or losing a credit. At minimum, the studio should send a text notification and provide a reasonable confirmation period. I am sharing this review so other members understand the risk before joining the waitlist. If you do not constantly monitor your email, you may be automatically enrolled and lose a class credit without ever confirming that you can attend.
