It all started in the '70s at Muscle Beach in Venice, where celebrity sightings were commonplace and serious bodybuilders were putting in serious work. By the '80s, our small gym full of hand-built equipment had grown into a global fitness empire, and our dedication only grew as our membership base did. Today, we're more than 200 gyms strong, serving several continents. Bringing back the classics, like old-school weightlifting with barbells, we're dedicated to keeping fitness simple and effective.
