  I had a grand ol’ time at Clear Choice Optometry! As soon as I walked in, the front desk was very helpful and Ximena and Wendy got me checked in really fast. The true star came from Naomi’s pre-test. She made the experience really fun and enjoyable and even made small talk to get me more comfortable. Then Dr. Fukunaga was another pleasant experience. She was super friendly and we talked about the World Cup, it was a really nice time! Will definitely go back again.

  I had glasses that were in need of adjustment and the technician worked really hard to make sure I have the best fit! I am so grateful:)

  This was my first exam in my adult life, everyone from front desk to the technician to the doctor were incredibly kind and informative. I’m happy to have found such a comfortable environment to have my medical needs met. Thank you!

  I had an excellent experience at Clear Choice Optometry! Dr. Shelly Fukunaga was absolutely wonderful—professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and very attentive throughout my visit. She took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I felt comfortable and well cared for. I truly appreciated the level of attention and service I received. I highly recommend Dr. Fukunaga and the entire team at Clear Choice Optometry!

  Dr. Hernandez has been our family’s optometrist for years, and she consistently delivers exceptional care. She takes wonderful care of my eyes, my wife’s eyes, and even my 84-year-old mother’s eyes, adapting her approach to each of our different needs with the same level of attention and expertise. Her prescriptions are always spot on, and she makes sure we stay on top of our annual check-ups. It’s also clear she invests in her practice. The testing equipment is upgraded regularly, so we always feel like we’re getting accurate, up-to-date care rather than being seen with outdated tools. Beyond the clinical side, the office staff is genuinely helpful and makes every visit easy, from scheduling to insurance questions. Dr. Hernandez has carried on Dr. Hirano’s legacy beautifully, and in our opinion, she’s the best optometrist in the South Bay. Our whole family is in great hands with Clear Choice Optometry, and we recommend her without hesitation.
