  My mother fell a few months ago for the 6th time in 6 months, but this time, she was unable to walk on her own. I reached out to several caregivers' services to try to secure the best care for mom. I spoke with Markeith McCrew, who was very professional, kind, and showed sincere care for mom and our family's needs. I was very impressed with Markeith's approach to our needs. Most of the services I interviewed all charge the same price per hour, yet Markeith made the difference in our decision. We started with 12 hours a day but slowly graduated to full 24 hr care. Crystal and Salud in the office are also very professional, kind, and efficient when issues arise or scheduling changes are needed. I get a monthly schedule, so I am fully aware of who is on duty each shift. The communication is very good, and if a caregiver is unable to make a workshift, the other team members at comfort keepers strive hard to find a replacement ASAP and keep me informed of progress. The caregivers are very good, and I must praise Kiara, Katherine, Lisa, Veronica, Ayotunde, and Jasmine for their efforts as carrgiving requires special people with big hearts as well as tender compassion and experience. Markeith also has been instrumental in ensuring that the required tasks are completed on each shift and also provides training to the caregivers as needed. The caregivers have become a part of our family, and we certainly appreciate the positive efforts and growth as we move forward. Highly recommended 👌

  At first, my sisters and I were nervous about having "strangers" come in our home and take care of my 84-year-old mom with Dementia, but we knew that we needed the help, and they did just that. The office was able to come and take with us the same day we called about the service even after a couple other companies tried to schedule us for a week later. After the meeting, my family and I felt assured this was going to be the right fit for our mom. The caregiver that came out was experienced with dementia patients and she was even able to teach us a few tricks to handle her behaviors. As time went on, our caregiver became more like family and my mom seemed to really enjoy her time when our caregiver. We were so happy that our mom is able to enjoy her best years in her home instead of a nursing home. Thank you Comfort Keepers.

  Management and staff have been sensitive and understanding to the needs of my father. They have assessed his living situation and offered solutions to rising issues dealing with old age and dementia. Not an easy task. Our ‘very independent’ father has been surprisingly happy with the service and companionship of his caregivers! Communication with the agency is easy, and the daily logs reported by the caregivers let's us know what goes on each day someone is there. Comfort Keepers Lomita truly provides a ‘comfort’ - knowing our dad is receiving good, attentive, individualized care.
