  Working with Comfort Keepers in Thousand Oaks for over 10 years has been an exceptional experience. My mom recently passed away in her home at the age of 98. The quality of the caregivers, schedulers, case managers have been consistently excellent. So many of the caregivers became important people in my mom's life. As mobility and hearing issues tended to more isolation, the caregivers were there to meet both her physical and social needs. If a caregiver was unable to come, I was always notified and offered replacements. As she needed more care it was seamless to arrange it. This is a very well run, compassionate and stable organization. I did not have to worry. Hire them.

  My mother has had a caregiver from Comfort Keepers for the past 2+ years and it has been a great experience for her and the entire family. I find all of their staff to be helpful, organized, empathetic and highly knowledgeable about elder care. We've had the same caregiver now for the majority of that time and she has been incredible. She can walk the line between providing care and companionship, handles every situation with calm and good sense and has a become an invaluable part of my mother's continuing independence. I highly recommend this organization.

  Recently, at a local coffee shop, I overheard a conversation between a group of people about the need to find a caregiver for their elderly father and Comfort Keepers was highly recommended. Good choice! I walked home so pleased and appreciative that I am a caregiver with Comfort Keepers.

  As a senior living professional, I have seen time and time again happy families who have needed part time care from Comfort Keepers. They have shared their complete confidence with the quality of their care staff with me. I have seen their sensitivity and their genuine concern. It only made sense that when my own father in law needed care, I referred Comfort Keepers. He feels like he was sent the perfect angel to render services customized for his needs. 5 stars all around!

  Under extraordinarily difficult circumstances, we were lucky enough to have called Comfort Keepers, where our needs were met with the greatest degree of professionalism. With Ellen's gentle guidance, we were able to navigate our way through the extensive needs of caring for a loved one at home. Though it was not easy, Comfort Keepers' staff were always kind, professional, capable, warm and caring--they welcomed the work load ahead, which reassured our fragile states of mind. Comfort Keepers offered a world of resources which saved us headaches and hours of research. I would recommend Comfort Keepers unequivocally, and would call them again without hesitation, should the need arise. They truly care! Sandra Bartell
