I’ve taken 8 classes at YogaSix Temecula so far and I’m already hooked. I come from more of a weightlifting background, so yoga was definitely outside my comfort zone at first — but in the best possible way. It’s challenged me physically and mentally while also helping me slow down, recover better, and become more aware of my body in a way I honestly didn’t expect. The instructors are talented, encouraging, and make every class feel approachable whether you’re having a strong day or just showing up to move and breathe. Every class has felt welcoming and I’ve appreciated that each teacher brings something different while still creating a really positive environment. The studio itself is beautiful, and the front desk team always makes you feel welcome the second you walk in — that consistency means a lot when you’re building a new habit and trying something new. I also signed up for the Yoga Pose Contest for Grand Opening weekend (I was actually the first one to register 😄) because when I heard about it, I thought it sounded fun. One thing I’ve learned through yoga is that practice can look different for everyone — sometimes it’s challenge, sometimes it’s mindfulness, and sometimes it’s simply celebrating what your body can do and sharing that with others. I’m really excited for Grand Opening this Saturday and proud to be part of this community from the beginning. If you’ve been thinking about trying YogaSix, this is your sign — come take a class!

I had high hopes for this studio. Unfortunately, I ended up disappointed yet again and have decided to take my practice, wellbeing, and hard earned money elsewhere. I have several issues with this studio being run like a loud gym, but this was one worth mentioning. The grand opening "Yoga Pose Contest" directly contradicts what we are taught about yoga on a foundational level. Many instructors (if not all of them) make a point to say during class - "yoga is not a competition", yet here you are making it a competition and side show. The purpose of yoga is NOT for showing off to win prizes and I can not bring myself in good conscience to patronize any business openly trivializing something so important to me. The good: The WA's have all been lovely. The former GM (who was fired within weeks of opening) was great, the former lead instructor (who quit) was also great! A number of instructors are...great! It's ownership that needs MAJOR improvement.
