These people are incredibly rude. From the person at the front desk all the way back. Unbelievably rude to their patients.

Cattle call ! Go elsewhere! All by appointment takes no walk-in! Yet they way way way over booked. Arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment knowing as a new patient extra information needed. Signed in I myself had to initiate the protocol for new patient sign up. Already had a feeling this was a mistake happen to ask 8 patients waiting have they been here before- immediately 3 of them responded as yes- no joke all three emphasized patience. Right there should have been my clue!!! 9:45 am appointment (remember I had arrived 15 minutes early )- in now examining room being catfish ( dragged along) 10:30 am being told another 5 minutes. I left knee it would have continued on and on. Patience again kept hearing in my head response from the 3 in the waiting room! Again take no walk in -there is ZERO reason to conduct services such as this. Oh yeah those three were still waiting to be called in now it’s 11:40. Go elsewhere where they value you and your time.

I had an infection on my finger that was not healing. I was going to head to the ER, but noticed on Yelp they allowed walk ins, so I though I had nothing to lose. In no time at all I was seen by, the doctor. He was patient, kind and quickly got to work lancing off the infected area and sending it for biopsy. The waiting area had comfortable chairs and the patient rooms were clean and well prepped for the next patient. Glad I picked the right place!

I made my appointment over a month ago. I’m standing outside the office at my scheduled and confirmed appointment time and the office is locked and closed. I was assured the office was open during typical business hours despite the Memorial Day holiday. There isn’t a sign posted on the door advising they would close for the holiday or were leaving early unexpectedly. I waited on hold to get in contact with the central office for 30 minutes. When I did get in touch with someone, they allowed me to leave a message but could not schedule another appointment or recommend another location. On the day of my last two appointments I was also called and asked to come in immediately - an hour and a half before my appointment time - because the doctor wanted to leave early. The timing only gave me ten minutes to discuss with my boss and take time off work, which is just not possible and makes me look unprofessional. If that were to happen one time then I understand, but two appointments in a row and then this? I drove over 100 miles to get here today and cut short a holiday with my family because I was assured the office was open today. When I’ve managed to see the doctor, my experience has been fine, just as I would expect from any office. However, be warned that scheduling is a nightmare and taking time off work to arrive to my appointment when the office is closed is beyond infuriating. There is nothing Advanced Dermatology could do to make up for the lost time and stress and heartache I have felt today. Update: When I came in the next day, the person at the front desk was apologetic and helpful. She eased my frustration enormously with her professionalism and empathy. For the remainder of my visits I did not have any issues. I am increasing my rating from 1 star to 4. I hope no one else goes through my same experience.
