  I came here last week and already received my glasses. Everything was super quick and easy. They had a pretty selection of frames and it was hard choosing, but shoutout to Ty for all the help! He was super friendly and helped me narrow down to few options.

  When you think about getting an eye exam or buying a great pair of glasses, Target may not be the first place that comes to mind. After my experience at Target Optical in Sunnyvale, that has completely changed for me. I've worked with two other optometrists and optical centers in the area, and I often felt rushed or pressured into upgrades or frames that weren't really what I wanted. It seemed more about selling what they had available than taking the time to understand what actually looked and fit best on me. My experience at Target Optical was completely different. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Ty, who I believe manages the Optical department—and if he doesn't, he should! From the beginning, Ty was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and never once made me feel pressured to buy anything. The first thing that really surprised me was the selection. This was easily the BEST selection of frames I've seen at any optical center I've visited. They had the major brands I was looking for, plenty of styles, and, importantly, the right sizes. Working with Ty made the experience even better. He is easily one of the friendliest, most knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful optical professionals I've dealt with. He took the time to understand what I wanted and helped me find frames that actually fit me properly. I ended up purchasing two pairs of glasses—a pair of Ray-Ban Meta glasses and a pair of Oakleys in a slightly larger size than what I had previously purchased elsewhere. Ty did everything he could to make sure I was happy with both purchases. He helped maximize the available discounts, worked through my insurance, and made the entire process incredibly easy and painless. Most importantly, I never felt like Ty was simply trying to sell me something. I felt like he genuinely wanted to make sure I walked away with the right glasses and was happy with my purchase. I've already recommended Target Optical in Sunnyvale to several people, and I'll continue to do so. Great selection, excellent customer service, no pressure, and an outstanding experience with Ty. If you're looking for new glasses, I highly recommend stopping in and asking for Ty. Five stars!

  I had an incredible experience at Target Optical! Ty Riley went completely above and beyond to help me out when I ran into an issue with my Ray-Bans. He was extremely understanding, professional, and helped me save a huge amount of stress and money. The level of care and customer service here is unmatched. Absolutely outstanding customer service—they truly made my year! Highly recommend this location!

  I had a wonderful experience at Target Optical, and I especially want to appreciate Riley for his excellent customer service. He was extremely patient, friendly, and knowledgeable while helping us choose the right frames. He took the time to understand what we were looking for and gave us helpful suggestions without making us feel rushed or pressured. His professionalism and attention to detail made the whole experience very smooth and enjoyable. We ended up purchasing our frames, and we’re very happy with our choice. Thank you, Riley, for making our visit such a pleasant experience. Excellent service and highly recommended!

  We stopped by the Sunnyvale’s McKinley Avenue Target Optical department to repair a pair of much needed glasses. My friend had lost the small screw and was reduced to taping it so she could wear them. We were greeted by Ty Riley, General Manager the minute we came through the door. He smiled and within minutes the glasses were repaired and cleaned to my friends great relief, at no charge. Ty was professional, friendly and engaging. My friend, who can be very shy made a comment that she’ll always come back to Sunnyvale Target Optical department for all her repairs. I’m coming back to purchase the gorgeous RayBan sunglasses that Ty helped me picked the perfect pair.
