  From Dr Cohen to the rest of the staff at this LensCrafter was a great experience. From coming in early to check out their glasses selection, to my appt and getting my glasses everything went smooth and easily. I think I have some eye issues and my last Rx was just not right. Dr Cohen took the time to get things adjusted. Then I got the glasses I have wanted for a while. I do not have insurance. So if you are also in the same boat, get a AAA card. 20% off your frames & 50% off your lenses. The woman helping me compared both the LensCrafters sale and AAA and used the cheaper of the two. I saved a TON of money. The cost of the vision part of it was reasonable. Up from my last check up but still reasonable. And no. I do not think LensCrafters is more expensive. I looked at the price range for what I need for my lenses. It was spot on (yes it was on the upper side of the range, but it is California …) what I would have been charged before my AAA discount. Picking up my glasses was a breeze. Came in one week after I ordered them. In and out in minutes. I am always nervous going to a new eye place (changed from a different LC) because I only wear my glasses and I have horrible vision. So I need it right. I would happily recommend Simi Valley LensCrafters. I will be back next year for a check up vision appt.

  Hola llegue por una consulta por iritacion en mi ojo derecho. Marina me atendió profesionalmente en español. La Dra . Shem pudo resolver mi problema de una forma cordial y profesional. Me recetó medicamento y se aseguro con Marina como intérprete que yo entendiera todo para el cuidado de mi ojo. Espero regresar pronto para mi examen de vista.

  Great experience, quick eye exam and glasses. The employees were really nice, honored the AAA discount even though i didn’t have the card, and answered all my questions :)

  I have Oakley flax, the lens portion that snap in the frame broke off, this has happened to a few pairs of glasses. I asked them to look up the last time it happened, and see if Oakley gave them a reason this happens, and she couldn't see any notes. What kind of quality system do they have, this must happen quite a bit, it has happened to me three times now! They should have replaced them for free, but I had to use my insurance to get a replacement! I live with this issue, because I like them! I have Golf, Sun, and normal, all prescription, I have worn them for years!!
