When I called to schedule my appointment, I was told this location requires a retinal scan, unlike other locations, and that it would cost $39. Annie specifically told me that this would be the only additional charge. However, when I arrived for my appointment, I was informed by the front desk that my out-of-pocket cost for the visit would be $115. When I politely asked for clarification about the unexpected charges, Annie repeatedly responded, “I told you on the phone,” rather than taking the time to explain the breakdown or address my concerns. The issue wasn’t just the cost—it was the lack of clear communication and the dismissive attitude when I asked reasonable questions. As a first-time patient, this left a very poor impression. Because of this experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
