  I LOVE Club Pilates! I came to my first class as an out-of-shape, post shoulder surgery woman and get stronger every class. The instructors have modifications if I can't quite do an exercise as demonstrated. By April, my one year anniversary there, I should be much stronger and more fit.

  Hello! 👋 This is Barb Candeub and I live in San Ramon. I have never done Pilates and never had any type of gym membership. I went to the soft opening @ CP in San Ramon in Feb. 2026, signed up, and have gone to 2 classes a week ever since! From day 1 the GM Kerry and her staff have made me feel SO at home and comfortable! 😊 They are all very helpful, cheerful and knowledgeable! I’m 66, was doing very little exercise, sit at a desk most of the day, have had knee replacements and even though the classes were challenging for me at first, I have stuck w/ it and look forward to every single class! I am def much stronger & more flexible now & have been walking a lot and doing many exercises at home to enhance on off days. My favorite instructor is Yang Xu - she is wonderful & creative - always changing things up, and has really helped me when I need a little extra time and/or assistance. Zero complaints here! I FIVE STAR HIGHLY RECOMMEND Club Pilates San Ramon!!! It is one of my HAPPIEST places and I hope to be attending for many years to come! 😊❤️🙌

  I've been delaying my review because I wanted to gatekeep this little gem a little longer. I already have a membership my second month in and it's one of the best purchases I ever made. If you've been thinking about doing Pilates, or wanted to get a more consistent fitness routine going, I highly recommend taking one of their intro classes. I adore this gym - the staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful and the studio owner is extremely communicative and knowledgeable. Some comments on my favorite instructors: Heather has one of the most consistent routines and makes it easy for first-timers to follow along and settle into a rhythm. Whitney makes fire playlists and her style is really all about getting the highest impact out of the smallest movements. Mandy is really charismatic and she really goes out of her way to make sure your form, alignments, and movements are correct and impactful. Yang Xu gets really creative with her classes - she challenges you differently each time and you always leave feeling like you reached a new milestone. Christy is super knowledgeable about how you can leverage all of the equipment to get the most ideal results. I also just started taking classes with Josephina and her style is very calming and encouraging. All of the instructors bring something unique to the table so it's never the same each time. The community is really supportive and the facility itself is very clean. You will need to clean up after yourself after each class (wiping down everything you touched), which is honestly just common courtesy. A word to the wise: I totally side-eye folks who leave their equipment in less than pristine order, so if you do take a class, make sure you pay it forward so the next person can enjoy.

  I was enjoying my classes until I had a situation at home that made me freeze my membership for a couple of months. I was NOT INFORMED AT ALL at the time of signing up for the membership or requesting a freeze that I am going to be charged $35 PER MONTH if I freeze for any reason and $100 for cancellation! The reason for charges is that they are holding our discounts?!!!! How ridiculous is this! This is costing me much more than the little discount they gave me. The instructors and classes are good but NOT BEING TRANSPARENT is not appreciated at all! When I called Carrie at the san ramon location, she kept interrupting me instead of letting me finish, even after many requests to let me convey what I had to say. And then in an attempt to try to convey, when I had to say it loudly, she said that I am yelling! Well, how do I make you hear me that --- you DID NOT tell me about any costs. Further, she said that- 1. oh! I told you that you will receive an agreement in the email. This was AFTER she signed me up as a member without any kind of consent that I am okay with them charging me all these hidden costs!!! There was no call-out about making sure that a new member is okay about these conditions. 2. I told you about the $35 freeze cost. NO she did NOT, I'd have not let them charge me if that was the case, because of not informing me at the time of sign up. As a new mom, it took me months to be able to get up and go. It feels very discouraging about Club Pilates to have these kind of policies where if a member is dealing with a personal situation, they get charged without consent and info and have a hard time returning! It should be an open place where people can sign up to come or leave if they dont like the classes or need to leave for any reason in the world. Horrible experience!
