  I can’t say enough good things about this practice! The office staff is always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I love that they have locations in both San Luis Obispo and Templeton, and I’ve never had a problem getting an appointment when I need one. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and attentive—taking the time to truly listen and provide great care. The doctor and staff helped me get leave of absence forms signed and submitted on time for my work situation also and I am so grateful for that. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent podiatry care on the Central Coast!

  I have been completely happy with Dr. Abernathy. He really listens and hears what you're saying, very happy with my surgery and the after care was great.

  I love my new doctor! Dr. Abernathy was all the important things: knowledgeable of course…kind…patient…able to take X-rays in the office and show them to me so I could see and understand his explanations. He has a gentle yet powerful persona and I liked him immediately. I felt safe…considered and supported. The office staff was friendly..patient with my many changes of appointment times, considerate of my needs and attentive. I had a very pleasant experience and am feeling positive and supported in my recovery.

  I had a great experience with Dr. Abernathy. I injured my leg and he was able to get me in right away. Within 20 minutes of arriving, I had been seen, treated, and was in a boot and on my way. He was so kind, down-to-earth, and genuinely caring. I really appreciated how quickly he took care of me and made me feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend Dr. Abernathy!

  Seeing Dr. Abernathy made a huge difference for me. I had been dealing with persistent foot discomfort, but Dr. Abernathy quickly diagnosed the issue and developed a practical, effective recovery plan. Dr. Abernathy was thorough, listened carefully to my concerns, and clearly explained my diagnosis and treatment. I never felt rushed during my appointments. I am finally back to walking comfortably.
