  Extremely unprofessional and honestly unacceptable. Jessie repeatedly comes in late to a class that is only 50 minutes long to begin with. On top of that, we have to set up our own Pilates equipment, so by the time she arrives and everything is ready, a noticeable portion of the class we paid for is already gone. Then the rest of the session feels rushed because we’re trying to squeeze everything into whatever time is left. What really bothered me was her response when I brought it to her attention. Instead of acknowledging the issue or apologizing, she told me that she “doesn’t drive.” I’m not sure how her transportation situation is supposed to be the paying customer’s responsibility. Everyone else manages to arrive on time for a scheduled class, and the instructor should be held to at least the same standard. If I pay for a 50-minute Pilates class, I expect a 50-minute Pilates class—not a shortened, rushed session because the instructor couldn’t arrive on time. The lack of accountability and dismissive response made the situation even worse. Very disappointing experience.

  Jessie is one of the most rudest condescending instructors that I have ever encountered at any Club Pilates studio. She doesn't arrive on time and my sister who is a club Pilates member refuses to take her classes. And when you attempt to speak with her and give constructive criticism, she accuses you of yelling and being rude and demands that you exit the building. She called security on me and which the security guard stated I was not yelling at. Her I think she did not appreciate me being a black woman and her being Caucasian accepting the constructive criticism from a black woman

  I was a member at Club Pilates San Leandro for about four months, and I had a great experience overall! The instructors are good, though like any studio, you’ll naturally find favorites based on teaching style. Classes are capped at 12 people, so spots fill up fast. I found that having the unlimited membership made a huge difference—it allowed me to book up to 15 classes ahead of time. As long as you have a routine schedule and schedule your next class right after finishing one, it’s super manageable. What really impressed me was their staff and customer service. I had a few personal things come up where I needed to pause my membership, and they were always responsive and helpful over the phone. I recently moved away to an area without a nearby location and had to cancel, but the whole process was smooth and stress-free. I never tried email so I cannot speak to that. Highly recommend if you're looking for a solid Pilates studio with great service!
